Stigma Against Calling Out Supports

Before anything else, Im just pointing out that i DO realize there's a problem with blaming supports for everything, i DO realize that supports are almost always the scapegoat, I'm actually a support main myself, so please don't misunderstand this as me saying that everything is always the supports fault.

In recent games, I've noticed that because of the current "blame the support" attitude, some people find it in their right, to, as supports, become overly sensitive to everything. If you call someone out on not pinging missing by simply saying "pls ping mia next time", that should be perfectly acceptable, but in my experience, and I don't know exactly why, in around 1/4 of my games the supports react by raising passionate arguments about how supports are always blamed for everything in all chat, and then in some cases proceed to tell the enemy team to report you for being unsportsmanlike. In my honest opinion, I think because of all the issues with blaming supp for losses, they somehow feel entitled to turn anything into discrimination because of the role they're playing.

Why is my experience so different from yours? Why do I play ADC without ever meeting these hypersensitive supports?

Why is it that every day or so, someone will come on here, pick a group of people, and say it is ALL THEIR FAULT?

I am not in your games, I don't know how you or your teammates interact with your supports. All I can say is the occurrence you describe is extremely rare in my games.

To be honest you are not supposed to imply blame for anything, always look to what you did wrong not someone else. (Especially the supports who get it the worst.)

Example: You get ganked, and ask for pings. (Why didn't you look at the mini-map more.)

I think the same can be said for the "blame the jungler" trend that has been going on since S1. People think it's the support's job to win the lane for the ADC, like it's the jungler's job to win the lane for top and mid. When that doesn't happen, people bitch about how "support's so bad" or "jungle never ganks". This is nothing new, it's been going on since S1.
