Why do I have to master other champions to get mastery 6 on my main?

to get 500 essence you need at least 3 champion shards. that means you need to get S on your main and 2 other champions.

I wasn't so lucky(in this specific case ofc, I'm lucky to get skin shards in general), I opened 9 boxes(1 of them is free, thnx rito for that) to get the 3 champion shards I needed for my Blitz lv6 mastery.

Now how many other champions do I need to master and get S? I still haven't gotten lv7 Blitz yet and my other mains also need blue essence for lv6!

Rito plz! We get it that you are trying to make blue essence useful, but give us other options.

They already have plans to add something you can buy with IP that will do the same thing.
