It's disheartening to see individual play (snowballing) being phased out of League

Let me just say one thing: snowballing in Season 2 was out of control. 1 death top lane meant the lane was over for your opponent, and multiple kills allowed the enemy to 1vX your team.

That being said, being fed has very little impact now because as long as the enemy top and jungler aren't too far behind, they can pile on you and there isn't anything you can do about it because the individual lead you have isn't much when the rest of your team isn't performing well above par.

I've been 15/2 as Graves, with the enemy ADC and support being a non-factor in teamfights, however, because enemy Renekton and their jungler managed to net a couple kills more than my top/jungler, I'm completely powerless versus them. Being fed in this season means almost nothing, and this is why the pro-scene is primarily a farm fest, because the risk involved in getting a kill isn't worth the farm you miss, and you don't set the enemy that far behind.

I get that it's a teamgame, and should be won as a team, however, in SOLO QUEUE, there needs to be a greater reward for capitalizing on your enemies mistakes, either when forcing them back or netting a kill, because right now, it only takes 5-10 minutes to bounce back into the game after getting dominated by your lane opponent.

if youre better than your opponent you should be able to consistently build up an advantage over him anyways.

so there is no need for additional snowballing mechanics.

edit.: wait. he had as much kills as you. first of all, you were 14/5 and he was 12/5 by the end of the game with significantly more assists. he had 16k gold by the end of the game where you had 15k.

can you explain to me why an equally fed renekton shouldnt be able to carry his team as much as you yours?

Yep, season 3 was the best.
