@Riot, a lot of people seem to be confused about the soft reset. Maybe you should be more clear?

A lot of people, myself included, have no idea how the "soft reset" works exactly, or how much the placement matches actually matter in determining where you get placed, or if they even DO matter, and to what extent.

I know you have some formula or whatever that determines how and where players get placed after completing their games, so why not fill us all in on how that is, somewhere where everyone can see so we don't feel so confused and/or disappointed when we worked hard to climb out of bronze and into high silver by the end of last season, only to be placed back into mid bronze after our placement matches?

(note: I have yet to complete my own placement matches, so I'M personally not feeling disappointment or anything atm, this is more for those who are. I sympathize with them. )
