Can you people stop saying Riot wont nerf Darius due to favoritism?

Does nobody remember Darius before his rework?

Initially op, got some nerfs that were deserved, then got his ult nerfed with 0 compensation on patch 3.03 which erased him from competitive, higher ranks of play, and gave him no reason to be picked over a lot of other champions.

There are 3 reasons why he hasnt been nerfed to an extreme and why they dont "favor" Darius.

1. They would hate a repeat of 3.03 Darius in where they fall pressure to the community and leave him to rot for years again.

2. They want to wait until worlds are over for bigger nerfs, think about it, why would they nerf him in a huge way now during worlds which could make people like us go "wtf so much weaker than worlds". Season 3 Zac is another example.

3. There is not enough information to figure out where to nerf Darius correctly without making him useless. You might say "2000 heal with a really low cooldown is op if he hits 3 people while black barred, he has true damage, he gets bonus AD for an immobile melee as a steroid to be a threat, he has built in armor pen for his mainly physical damage kit, and that he can deal as much damage as a carry late game."

They need to figure out they should truly nerf so that we dont get old Darius who had no reason to be picked over somebody like Irelia.

Please stop saying they show him favoritism, if this were the case he wouldnt have been weak for more than 2 years.
