Bramble Vest

Unique Passive - Thorns
    Damage reflect changed from [15 damage] to [damage equal to 10% of your bonus Armor]

-> dumpstered in early game, will no longer see rushes of the item. Need 150 bonus armor to reach same value

Sunfire Cape

Unique Passive - Immolate
    damage increased from 11 to 20
    bonus damage to minions and monsters lowered from 200% to 100%

-> uh.. wow. Guess we're gonna see more tanks and even less bruisers toplane. LUL. That's a huge coming back of the item. Note : the damage is actually 20 (+1/level) Or will we? The bramble vest nerf is huge, would you think new sunfire (which looks a lot like old one, even before :^) ) will be harder to face than current bramble. I... Kinda think so actually. Get ready for tank meta boys. We only need the assassin nerfs and we're back to tanks + adc completely roflstomping other setups !

The fact they are even buffing sunfire like that when shit like ornn maokai and cho are already the most broken top laners in the game is hilarious.

What exactly is there to talk about? The item was absolute garbage, and the only reason tanks were still taking it was because they had nothing else to take. It's about time tanks that aren't Sion, Sej, and Maokai started doing relevant damage again.

Clearly you didn't read all of what I said, but okay. Maybe I missed Ornn. Nothing I've said other than missing Ornn is untrue. There are a handful of tanks that stay relevant in damage throughout the game. The rest fall off after the mid game.

There's something called crowd control and peeling which is way more powerful than the average dps output of a bruiser. Can't ignore the fact that the tank is gonna CC you, you're not permanently under the effects of olaf's ult as far as I know

Not every tank is born with adequate CC. Nautilus has a crap ton of it, and his damage has taken a hit over the years to make up for it. Malphite has one hard CC, and it's on a high cooldown ultimate. If he wastes that ult and doesn't get the most out of it in a teamfight, you can basically just ignore him for the entire fight if he does no relevant damage, can't you? Why waste time shooting at an adorable damage sponge playing at being a tank?

I expect Ornn and Sion nerfs after this sunfire cape patch. Maokai already has some slated on the PBE, and tank Galio has been so thoroughly fucked by the balance team that he needs this buff to sunfire.
