Azir is perfectly fine. He has a very high skill floor so his winrate is bad. In the hands of an experienced Azir player he is still a top tier pick

Even the experienced Azir players (125+ games) only have a 50% winrate. http://champion.gg/champion/Azir The problem is that in the competitive scene hes extremely strong (coordinated teams) So its hard for Riot to buff or nerf a champion that has such drastic differences. Shit in solo Q // God tier in competitive.. Not an easy champ to balance.

You need to be careful with that site. It says only 6% of the games analyzed are 125+ games. This means that statistic is of a sample of only 1200 games. Thats not a big enough sample to draw that kind of conclusion from

Which is plenty.

So everyone not in challenger will fail at him?

winrate is not how a champion is balanced. heimer has a high winrate but isnt overly powerful. azir is fine he just has a very small playerbase who can play him

Find me proof where winrate does not effect balance.

He just got a buff this patch.

He needs more than buffs or nerfs. Even with this winrate he's still an extremely strong champion in the hands of a skilled player, which is why he's been a common pick at worlds.

Either he stays where he is, or riot reworks parts of his kit to fix that syndrome.

Let me explain this to you as an Azir main.

No.

Playing Azir well in relation to my ELO already feels like cheating, and if I screw up, I get punished for it just like I should. There isn't a single meta team comp that Azir can't play mid in, and there isn't much that a good Azir can't play against. The nature of his kit is just too complicated to ever be in a healthy state from Bronze all the way to Challenger. Riot can buff him so that he's a viable pick to lower experienced players, but then EVERYONE in plat+ is going to quit ranked because it'll be the team that gets Azir wins. On the other hand, he could be in this state and be general trash in lower ELOs and be healthy in high ELOs.

If they buff him to stronger than he originally was, he'll need perma-banned in pro play and will be 100% pick-or-ban in high ELO.
