I'd imagine that with brand being as squishy as he is things get a little bit dicey. It probably would largely depend on what ad he is laning with. If he gets hooked he just explodes, so he has to respect the hook, meaning walking up to trade is very risky. Brand has to be VERY careful playing the bushes vs vayne, because a wall condemn would probably lead to you getting smashed as well. Brand also stops to cast his w if I'm not mistaken, which while a small window, IS a window for thresh to start something on him, even if it's only giving him less time to react to the death sentence.
Ariel the Cruel1 votesanother tid-bit a lot of people over-look: Brand doesn't have good brush-checking skills. However, the frost queen line will give you a +gold indicator over your head and eat a charge even if you hit an invisible enemy.
