GLP and Archangels need buffs Due to Shorter Games

GLP sucks, never see it used. Riot just tossed it in there and called it a mage item just to say mages have options.

Archangels is awful. Takes time to charge up, doesn't really offer enough AP to compensate. Meanwhile luden's echo grants all bonuses straight from the getgo and the passive more than makes up for the lower AP after its charged. Only good thing about archangels is the crappy overnerfed shield.

Even rod of ages doesn't feel that good to buy these days, but I see high elo players using it so it must be good!

GLP800 only needs some more scalings on its active and it's fine

Archangels is good on who can spam and awful on who can't they changed this item so "everyone" that want a good lategame could take it but they forgot to make it VIABLE on everyone the stack system needs to be changed

this item is actually good and really strong

not many players take it because they just don't have space in their slots (nowdays APs have 5 core items and 1 situational aka zhonya or banshee),but in high elo on some mages it's really strong you still have a good damage while getting tanky,plus it gives a decent sustain

no need to broke this item,if mages could make some choices in their builds we would see this item more often

if you really want to complain about an awful and useless item here it is item 3907 ,if you are not Ryze or Katarina good luck stacking it

Man even Karthus, who is one of the (if not the) fastest stacker of archangels doesn't take it. I think the reason archangels got nerfed is because of ryze. The item's 1400 mana is pretty damn overkill for anyone that isn't Ryze(he gains damage with max mana)

I agree with pretty much everything else though.

champions like anivia or cassiopeia still get it,about karthus idk it may be because we are in an early game meta so he changed his build but i don't play him and honestly i even forgot that this champion still exist

anyway i think they should increase item 3070 stacks for each proc but also increasing the delay between each of them

ie. 20 mana per cast,dealy between each stack 10 sec

for spammy champions it would be the same,but for the ones that can't do it it's way easier to stack

i don't think this item needs buffs anyway,it's a lategame item in an early game meta so it can't be viable unless it's broken

Or, since Riot is trying to lower upfront burst, we could just start with that. That'll make games last longer.

And then we don't buff 5-10 late-game items all at the same time we nerf early game damage and get thrown for another meta loop.

GLP used to be a good item when it had hp but now its useless.

no one builds GLP because well...

its sucks

If they left the health component on it (it was removed during the mage items update), the item would be a competitive item again.

Archangel was too good and needed the nerfs. The problem is that games are still way too early game focused that the set back for building it in the early makes it unwanted. So now even fewer champions building this as part of their core after its nerfs before the mage item rework.

If games became longer again it would be fine.
