Are there any matchups where ahri actually loses hard?
She's just so damn safe lol.
She's just so damn safe lol.
not in particular, part of Ahri's appeal is her safety
ahri walks in to a diner. there is no counter.

Ahri is strong vs. Ryze, Kat and Leblanc right now. Her winrates vs. them are all above 60%. They are practically garbage right now.
Most likely cause the players are garbage xD I do usually beat them, but in my experience if they know what they are doing they can win

These winrates are in diamond+. I'm sure they have knowledge of what they're doing in Diamond. Those champions were all gutted, besides Kat, but Ahri has always been able to do well vs her anyways.

Ahri can beat all of them lmao.
Any champion can beat any other champion too, but those champions are more likely to win vs. Ahri. To say she has no hard counters means you don't play her, or you don't know how to play against her and get stomped.

A hard counter means she's VERY likely to lose the lane because of a huge disadvantage. Ahri has none but it's not exclusive to ahri, most ranged champions have no hard counters because of the safety of their range, they can farm from distance if the MU is unfavorable. For Ahri this is especially true because of her huge safety.
Ahri is safe yes, but she is VERY likely to lose to Swain, Anivia, Fizz, Annie, etc. She's not perfect. You seem to just not play her at all, because if you know what you're doing with any of those champs, it can be a hard time for her.

How so? Am curious
there is no way ahri keeps up with sol waveclear that doesn't need ap nor a lot of mana then sol out rotates her and wins the game
how is this hard to get?
Cause if Ahri and Ao shin ever meet Ahri will out duel him as long as she stays in his circle, and she can easily dodge his ult, I am pretty sure Ao shin should never be able to 1 v 1 Ahri.

that's not how trades work in lane, Sol has a long range under W with fast orbs he can quickly win trades if the enemy stays in a long trade, he's one of the fastest champions in lane and can dodge skillshots easily
all of this while waveclearing and not using a lot of mana
[{quoted}](name=Jargon Wan,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=ZEJhOat2,comment-id=0006000000000000,timestamp=2017-03-19T19:08:30.975+0000)

Sol will never use ult to trade

Ao shin should never be able to 1 v 1 Ahri.
he doesn't care he will never fight ahri just try to trade and waveclear you're talking as if ahri has the power immediatly to kill Sol at lvl 6
lol

Sol can do very well against Ahri. She can't outpush him, and his roaming is 10x better. If Ahri is inside his circle, he still builds too much health for her to do anything to him. This is a skill match up too though. Sol can win the game solely by pushing and outroaming.
Ahri will never be able to kill Sol until she has items, this entire thread is talking about laning phase and in laning phase you don't rush someone with all your spells as Ahri unless you're bad
so while taking this in account Sol can win trades if he plays well and of course push and roam
because YES Ahri can't clear waves with her Q, the damage is insanely low until she has AP and Mana to spam it
She can beat him pre 6, but he scales way better and when it's time to group, she'll have a hard time.
Point and click harass, and a pool to negate all of her damage, he's also really strong vs her.
Outscales Ahri super hard, and can pressure mid harder after 6 to keep her from roaming.
More of a skill match-up, but she can still take Ahri out pretty easily.
If you're playing
as mentioned above, you'll probably lose since Ahri does very well against all of those. In fact, Ahri has a 60% and higher winrate vs. Leblanc and Ryze.

Ahri doesn't lose vs vlad at all, if she's not braindead she won't ever allow vlad to get close to her and just kite him for days. The only hope for vlad is cheesing a kill with flash and ignite.
Once he has Spirit Visage and Hextech, you aren't killing him and he's killing everyone. You don't have to get close to him, but you also won't be able to lane either. LOL.

zilean apperantly
cass surprisingly works well against her mostly because her w stops ahri from ulting :3
Yasuo that can time his wall well, Zed is also slightly favored in this lane I heard.
, everyone else that's presumed as a counter is really a skill matchup... Also for A.sol you just start the push first, just like vs. yasuo. As for zed, you do the exact opposite and let him push, but trying to poke him with autos. As for zilean, just dont engage him unless you are 6 and he isn't, or you get a pre 6 gank. As for talon, his q is a line dash, so you can charm him, and not get one shot if he isn't fed. For ryze, its avoiding bad trades by going for only short trades, avoiding his ew combo. Anivia is usually irrelevant until 6, but you still have your dash. A good yasuo will still be strong, and will deny you the pushes after lv 1 by windwalling whenever you use your q. A good zed will still not touch his cs at lv 1 (unless hes expecting a gank at 3). Good Anivias will try to pick you off when you dont have ult. A non-noob talon will try to one shot you very early. A good ryze will push his wave entirely before backing, scaling to his mid/late game. A good lb will catch you by surprise. A good syndra will want to scale, and make trades with her w and q while keeping her mana sustained. As for Kat, meh. She's only strong if she's fed, and your team literally doesn't know how to cc focus her while she ults (after her e dash ofc). As for vlad... if you even TOUCH his q range, it's either an even or lost trade, while he proceeds to get stronger than you WITH MR items. He can easily out sustain you, so trading isn't a good idea. Full on engages are obviously bad, unless you poke him enough AND hit 6 AND he isn't 6 AND you're even on him in cs AND he isn't braindead enough to not unleash his combos and dodge your skillshots AND he dies. She needs a gank against this matchup unless her team outscales the other team, or someone else is able to 1v1 him or she's ahead because of a gank, or their vlad is worse overall.
Otherwise rip.
