My best role is supp, what does that say?

I started playing supp again lately and I notice a huge boost in my WR and it has me wondering, what does that mean? Do I need better macro to play other roles or does the support I give is what's lacking in the games I don't support? I feel like I have a huge impact on the game in the support role, so can any support mains weigh in? My highest rank was my support account so I think I'll go back to being a supp main for a while, at least to climb out of NoobVille.

Just played another slam dunk game, starving their ADC from a single kill. While supp may be considered the easiest it's also a role that's constantly neglected by auto fill or god awful supports looking for KS the whole time. It blows my mind when I wander around with a sweeper and not find a single ward. Anyway thanks for the replies, I think I'll stick with it for a while, I am having a blast, plus my wait time is about 45 seconds for a game and I don't have to worry about a worthless bot lane lol!

Maybe you're just doing things that matter like taking objectives and providing vision since you have less impact on kills

I'm bad at league so take it as you will, but I think that having support as your best role means doesn't necessarily mean that you're bad at other roles, but rather that you might not have as much of an impact on other lanes as other roles. As support you can at least stop bot lane from losing and when you win bot lane, you can more easily get first tower and increase the number of people who can roam. Along with this you can also, proceed to starve the most item reliant person on the enemy team whilst getting your fed. If you're win rate is lower in other roles, it might be because you don't roam enough or effectively snowball as many lanes as possible. But I'm bronze so what do I know.

Support is literally the easiest role to win LP in. All you need to do, is protect your ADC, and ward. Ward A LOT. If you don't place 30 wards in a game, then you're not supporting right.

There's also the factor on who you get as your ADC. Don't spam pick the same champion, you want to pick something that works with your ADC. Look up some support combo's with certain adcs.

If you're good at support, then your adc should win. Play something that has a lot of cc, like braum or thresh. Lock them down, and if your adc doesn't follow up on an obvious kill, then you can downvote. If it comes to that point, then your adc is literally tilted from last game

No, sometimes I get adcs who only want to farm. Even if you're blitz crank and pull the enemy behind your minions and lock them down, they might auto once and go back to minions

It probably says that you are good at playing support.

Also, right now we're seeing a lot of players autofilled into the support role, which means that often the supports on teams aren't that good (because they are begrudgingly playing a role they don't really care for.) That tends to mean that the team which has an actual support player often has an advantage.
