Why is secondary role even required when your primary is support
I don't think anybody is gaining anything by a support main having to mid

It's mostly to force equality. Support gets its role about 90% of the time, however, every other role only gets theirs 60% of the time or so. If you got your role every time, you'd have an advantage.
Its actually needed so that you get put into games faster. Sure you are most likely going to grabbed from the support Q but its still possible to get grabbed from your other.
<-- queues as support primary / mid secondary
got mid twice during provisionals
40 games later: has never gotten mid
You are primary support, though there are 100's of games waiting for a support?
Better place you in your mid secondary role!!!!
