"Why did you ban XXX, I was going to pick him"

Yea it's always nice to actually use pick intent and then see my own team banning the champion i want to play, just for personal enjoyment.

And THEN people ask you to use pick intent. Yea right....

I banned XXX because you're only 12 years old. Kid, you shouldn't be watching those things at your age (Thinks about myself and how hypocritical that was)

I sometimes ban a champion my team has chosen if they're someone I ban almost every game and they player who chose them with pick intent is 4th or 5th pick. Not letting other team get them, sorry.

I say "you got X champ? If no, im banning Y champ since ur last. If u got X champ ill switch you" Or i get a friend or relative to help in switching stuff.

What I've learned from this thread: whether you show your intended pick or don't show your intended pick, you'll eventually find people on your team who'll screw you over either way. =w=

I don't even really look at pick intent, I just ban.

Last time i used pick intent and they still banned my champion

And here I am not caring who is banned because my champ pool extends beyond 3 champs.Also because the new draft isn't Teambuilder,so I never go in with the mindset "I'm going to play X Champ,no matter what."

I've found that using pick intent gets the champion I want to play banned more often than it prevents it from getting banned.

For this whole ordeal I will say unless you state otherwise it really is fair game. Especially if you are trying to use champions that are regularly ban and you aren't first picked I rather take the change of banning the champion all together since there is a high chance the enemy team will get said champions.

But I'm not against people who claim their pick intent says so in chat, and yet people will ban when it's not even a champion who is highly picked for bans.

Even if they intended to use the Champion to the point they showed it in Pick Intent time area, you still have the right to ban the Champ. Especially if you simply don't want to have that Champion on your team, or perhaps thinking that an opposing Champ will choose that Champ before your teammate can. I've banned Ezreal so many times when my teammates chose him, because they were lower than me in Pick Order and I was worried about having to go against Blue Ezreal. It's also a good idea if your ally is choosing to go in a lane/Jg with a Champ that doesn't belong there. If you don't want Yasuo to go ADC, ban Yasuo and not only do you prevent them from fucking everything up but it also prevents your opponents from using him.

Opened this thread expecting to see vin diesel in league... I'm very dissapointed.

I've had two separate occurrences of things like this:

Firstly i was in a normal with friends, banned rengar.

Guy who DID NOT pick intent rengar: "omg i was going to play rengar!"

After that he then proceeded to ban Morgana, who i pick intended.

Secondly was in a ranked queue:

Guy bans nidalee, I ask why, no response.

I get into game, ask why one more time, He then proceeds to say "I hate nidalee players, both on my team and against."

I'm sorry.. Where you expecting good players as teammates? Like intelligent people.. You are playing league.. Slap yourself and realize this is not fairy land.

If I ban someone if you wanted to play, 99% of the time it's because you're low on the pick order and no one can swap with you for you to get what you want. Some champions I'd rather not risk getting picked for the enemy team and I'll communicate as such.
