In an year or so, we'll have threads saying "I miss season 6"

I already miss Season 7.

If that happens, either:

A: Season 7 will be unimaginably bad. B: Things got a LOT better in the rest of the year.

I wonder if you're only making a worse case for leagues overall.

If you start with a piece of gold and get downgraded to a piece of silver, you'll praise the days of gold. When you get downgraded from silver and hit bronze you'll praise the days of silver. When you get wood, you praise bronze. When you get poop, you praise wood... and so on.

Just because you praise the days past doesn't discount the true state of that period during its time.

Are we the sheeple? Or are you? That is, the ones who will gladly revel in whatever Riot feeds you.

People have to remember we're only 3 patches in. We have a long time to see things get better. Early season 5 had issues with devourer being OP, tanks were almost completely useless, and DFG still made LB, Akali, Ahri, and Katarina insanely OP. No one even cares about Katarina now.

I say just wait a bit longer.

I've been around since S2 and I sure as fuck can say I won't miss S6. S5 was loaded with a ridiculous amount of problems, and S2 was the stone age... but on paper was more balanced than the game is now, then again every season was. S3 and 4 were the least offensive.

i only played s5 for a bit before 5.22. i spent most of my time in after 5.22. and i like the game before 5.22 much more. i don't agree with you. i just don't like fast matches. stomp fests. winning isn't fun 19/20 times. and losing feels like there is nothing you coulda done about it

I am from the future and can confirm Season 7 is so bad people miss Season 6.

Some of the tweaks that are ruining Season 7 for the community thus far are:

> Junglers are now forced to sit in something called ''The Box'' for the first 5 minutes of the match, although Lee Sin can leave it in 2. > CertainlyT is now head of the champion design team and has produced every new champion since Oorku (The new champion after Jihn). LC$ matches are now composed of nothing but CertainlyT champions, ADCs and Lee $in. > Yorick's rework was officially shelved > Taric has been replaced with Omniknight > Ahri has received her third skin in this season > Turrets now take halved damage from melee and AP-based champions, to increase the importance of ADCs even further > Ezreal is breaking the game with the shitty new Tank item somehow. It just works.

It's perfectly fine to miss past seasons. The problem is when they miss it so much they think the solution is "Just make it Season 5 again". We need to use the mistakes of the past to try and make the future of this game better, something Riot likes doesn't like to do and make as many radical changes as they want. Season 5 as a whole had the fewest balance problems I can think of, and I've been around since S2 (for what that's worth). We can't just go back to Season 5, but we can use it as a template to make this season better, which all things considered, isn't that big of a goal.

So not true i've been around since beginning of s1 and i can surely say I have had the least fun so far with s6

Well considering I enjoy playing tanks... And this thing makes me feel like I'm made out of butter.... I think I'll still say I enjoyed tank meta lot more than this meta.

S6 has been the worst season so far that I have ever seen and its scared me to the point that even if they fix all that is wrong, I will just remind people do you remember in S6 when they removed SoloQ from the game? I mean what could be worse then that? Do you remember when we had a 30 ping, now 125? Oh yeah that is worse, sad I miss the good old days from 8 months ago.

I don't miss any season, if you miss a past season then that typically means something along the lines of your favorite champ you used to carry yourself was just OP during that particular season and now that your freelo isn't so free you can't climb as well simply due to your own lack of skill.

I also find it hard to miss something while I'm currently playing that exact same game.... sure some things are different, but it's still the same game but with better graphics now, there is literally nothing worth missing that I don't currently have available to me.
