Is wukong even usable

I heard he's in a bad spot due to the meta some time ago. it hasn't changed so much. I did take him mid when I was trying to get swain but he was banned and for good reason. Whenever I do get swain, someone dodges. Anyways his clear sucks, he sucks against tanks and the currents good teir toplaners, and is melee making him vulnerable to poke mid. Yes wukong mid you b5 scrub. Ad assassins kill him and he hater early game snowball champions. For the most part, it seems you have to pick him as a counter or be a major masochist to play him. That aside, is he a usable hero atm.

Mid laner wukong isn't great at all (just play talon)

Jungle and top he's really niche, I wouldn't call him good or bad just usable.

That's a backup role for him if you don't jg or if he just doesn't work top because tank meta and he can gank. He works mid but it's situational

He isn't bad, he just doesn't fit the current meta. He has the tools to be a really good threat, but lacks the necessary things here and there to be viable in the current meta. Maybe an update of some kind to help him, or an item that clicks with him, but he doesn't need raw buffs persay.

He has also never been outright bad in any meta. There were times he has seen play, but he has never been outright amazing, but it isn't like he is horrible. He is missing a few tools here and there but he isn't an utter wreck. He has a fair bit of damage and scales amazingly with items like Black Cleaver and Hydra, but he lacks the sustain and or tankiness to back up his early game.

In tank meta he's horrible (laning wise), and he's barely decent in other (closer to bad). I think u say this due to his wr always staying around 50%, but its only due to dedicated mains

Both aren't great. Wukong is more or less forced to go Hydra (honestly, i just build tiamat) cause he has no waveclear (his worse issue imo). And BC is meh, if u rush it u'll lack damages (other bruiser can rush it and stay revelant, he can't). Drakhtarr & youmuu bro [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

yeah. his weak tankiness is due to his passive... but even when full stacked (mean around 5 ennemy) his passive is sh*t.

He wukong have a roaming gameplay... but he cant due to his wave clear.

he's hella fun down here in low silver/high bronze...predator rush in and e>q>r combo bursts a squishy enemy both u and him unfed to half hp, team follow up =assured kill

you snowball= you 1 shot with the e>q>r combo on squishies

Warrior>Dusk>Youmuus usually core for this

I wrote up a post with suggestions. He really could use SOMETHING to make him more.... defined in his role and rewarding to play. Wukong Tweaks for Better Monkeying

he is a fighter. juggernauts, mages, ADCs, and assassins all got class updates and fighters got shafted. so now champs like wukong are in an awkward spot to stay relevant with their outdated kits. his passive is the worst passive in the game.

Irelia MonkeyKing Olaf Elise , and allot of the divers are in a bad spot. Irellia, panth and nocturne are getting reworks but nothing about wukong. Rito should update his kit on the same level as shyvana and Xin Zhao.

He is viable in draft and low elo for his 1 combo potential. Riot should really do a rework similar to irelias honestly. Hes my fav champ in the game but falls off late game HARD and that makes me sad 😢

Last I checked, he's a scaling champion. Just because they are an ad assassins doesn't mean they fall off. In fact wukong isnt an assassin. he's a diver. The reason he s ales is because of his ult. It's a good initiation and it's aoe unlike vi or pantheon where they only hit 1 target. halso sucks in lane but once you get to midgame, you shred people. You don't win lane for free like pantheon or talon.
