item 3026 it is blatantly OP. I use it a ton. As do most people. Just curious as to why people dont rage about this item (im guessing cuz lower elo does not build it).

the cooldown is insanely long to be a viable item and also the point Metleon did is the right one too.

It ends up being useless a lot of the time. You're pretty much guaranteed to get revived in the middle of the enemy team. Unless your team is there fighting with you it you have an escape, your just going to get killed again.

It presents plenty of counterplay, and both teams are free to build it. This makes it feel less unfair to play against and so people do not get upset about it as much.

As Metleon said, on a carry, it's not really going to do much, as you'll most likely just get killed after the revive. Additionally, you don't really have room to fit it in your build most of the time: 3 crit items, boots, tank shred, and then lifesteal or hexdrinker. Unless you have 100% faith in your team to peel for you and your support to get and use Mikael's (read: only LCS), it's usually better to get the tools you need to keep yourself alive.

Now on bruisers, assassins, or even the AD minded tank (hello Gnar!), it's a great item. They will either have the mobility, CC, or durability after reviving that they can either continue to participate in a fight, or hightail it outta' there

The item is extremely niche, I find it more of a last-ditch maneuver.

On ADC: During a normal teamfight, if the enemy is allowed to reach you, odds are they'll already be sitting on top of you by time you revive. If you're the lone threat on your team, your allies can't push the enemy off of you. They can't punish a diver for tunneling you. Ironically, this usage of GA supplement's your allies being strong, rather than yourself.

Playing against an assassin though is a completely different matter. Assassins in LoL are designed to instantly delete a target, even in the middle of the enemy team, with zero or near zero interaction and without room or chance for counterplay, while still escaping unscathed. Most assassins can only do this once every half-minute or so and since they're insta-gibbing you in the middle of your own team, GA can revive you with relative safety. Sadly, GA has an obscenely long cooldown and assassins have very low cooldowns, especially when considering their staple items just happen to have CDR randomly thrown onto them for no reason at all. It's not ideal, but assassins leave you with extremely few options for counterplay, that's just a part of their intentional toxicity and unfair design that Rito refuses to address.

On bruisers: You're extremely durable and a constant threat. Even at low HP, you can easily turn a fight. Typically you're buying defensive or hybrid items, helping you come out beefier from a GA revive than say a squishy ADC. GA is a strong item, particularly now that is grants a bit of AD which can serve as an artificial "HP multiplier" or lifeline to stay in the fight longer. Speaking of Lifeline, Sterak's has better numbers in terms of both HP and damage multiplying, especially when paired with Spellblade. So once again, GA is a sub-par item, unless you're looking for that secondary lifeline past the first.

On tanks: You're a front-liner, all of your items gives heaps of HP and/or endurances. You probably have % damage and hard CC, the enemy has to keep you peeled away from the carries. GA can once again be a peudo-lifeline, but you'd just be better off with Sterak's or even better: Gargoyle Stoneplate. I doubt there's a situation where you'd ever want all 3.

As a team-oriented item: If 4 or even all 5 of you are buying GA, it becomes incredibly frustrating for the enemy team, being forced to kill all of you twice over. Allies' GAs buying time for more GAs, buying time for more GAs. Problem is, if the enemy can wipe all of you once, they'll have an easier time doing it all over, but 1 at a time. This may work well if you're all ahead, but otherwise it's likely a gesture of futile desperation.

As a 1v1 tool, GA is a poor option, particularly in specific matchups. Many champions have pre-emptive CC, you're giving them a free target to use it on. Pick GA against Caitlyn, she's gonna drop cupcakes under all of your asses and punish you for not playing the matchup. I've seen Caits grab pentas against 5-man GA teams for this oversight. That's the extreme, but it can just as easily be Jinx, Veigar or Teemo. Always try to consider your opponents' champs, not just your own.

Lengthy cool down and 9 times out of 10 you still die anyway,I for one wished it became the literal zhonia of ads with stop watch building into it and all...granted the results would be very much the same
