Xin Zhao tips please?

I'm new to playing him and I think I'm doing a fine job of farming on him, in that I'm always the one with the most gold on my team at the end of a game. That said, some of the things I'm doing are wrong and I'm not 100% certain on all of them.

What jungle item/smite should I prioritize? Red is great for dueling and the one that I prefer, but blue is better if my laners lack CC right? I've been taking red and I'm not 100% certain that it's going super well, if only because the effects of it aren't immediately visible like blue smite.

I've alternated between Warrior and Bloodrazor. Which is the preferred enchant for Xin?

And my build path probably sucks in my games. I've done Bloodrazor > Boots > Hextech Gunblade, and Warrior > Boots > BoRK. These seem decent but also I'm clearly doing something wrong if I can't pull wins out, and my teams have been fine.

First of all, use Press the Attack instead of electrocute, much more sustained damage.

Second, warrior vs bloodrazor is a playstyle/preference, but generally warrior is better to blow up squishies like adc and mid while bloodrazor + BorK is better at dueling tanks.

Third, dont buy gunblade on xin, its terrible seeing as xin is a AD champ, not AP.

Fourth, try to buy either merc threads or tabis boots. Xin aim for 1-3 damage items but usually want to tank up in order to sustain fights. General builds should b:

Warrior/bloodrazor (preference)
Triforce/Black Cleaver (triforce gives more damage, attack speed and burst/black cleaver gives more hp and armor shred) 3a) BorK or rageblade is fine, if you are ahead and wants more damage to push your lead further, otherwise its 3b) Deadmans Plate or randuins (depends if you are up against a crit user)
Anoter tank item like spirit visage, adaptive helm or thornsmail (much depending on your opponent)
Fifth item is a utility slot. Either Titanic hydra, BorK, Guardian Angel, Steraks. Dealers choice.

Some general tips, use your Q to knock up enemies before W, this will garantee hit everytime. Use R to zone out enemies while focusing ADC or APC. Also red smite is preferred on xin because of the 20% damage reduction. Blue smite gives nothing to xin (he already has a knock up and gap closer and a slow, when used correctly, movement speed doesnt matter)
