He kind of forces the entire game to be passive, it's not very good for the game as a whole
He'll try his hardest to ignore you in lane unless his jungler is coming, and post 6 he deters your team from trying to make any aggressive plays anywhere
If he's ever reworked again I don't think he should have global presence (at least not at level 6), and in exchange we bump up his personal presence to be more impactful when he actually joins a fight

His global ult IS his kit the fact is every single champion should affect how the match is played, just because some do it in a more noticable way doesn't change that shen is a good champion. Though i personally preferred his old kit a little more, i still like the new one

global cockblock is bad for the game, and considering Shen gets nerfed every single time he sees play I would bet riot feels the same
Penns1 votesHe isnt even bad imo, instant global shield that is also a free and better TP gank, is a good tank, pretty high damage, utility and cc/mobility. Pretty much everything youd want from a top laner except for maybe sustain.

I'm not going to go as far to say he's super gutted right now, as I still find success on him (but bronze is bronze so who knows), but he's always going to be good as long as the últ is good. It also gives him the ability to just roam while he sandbags a lane, which makes the laning extremely uninteractive. I don't know how it feels to play Vs Shen (as I usually play as him) but I'm assuming that sometimes it can be so extremely boring if he just sandbags.
theonlyaustin1 votesHe isn't bad.........He has one of the stronger laning phases, great initiating with the taunt/flash taunt, amazing peel with the taunt as well as the ultimate and that dodge zone is game changing. If he was bad he wouldn't be almost 100% pick/ban in pros.
