Tips for ranked?
Ok so long story short I'm kinda stuck in elo hell. Now before I get 1000 messages talking about how it doesn't exist, let me give some background info.
Last season I ended in S3. This season I placed into B2 after getting 4 all game DCs in a row in my placement matches. Ever since I have been struggling to climb at all, with whatever success I've had being pretty much totally negated. For the most part I find myself going either positive or even, and even when I get super ahead and try and carry, I find it nearly impossible with many of the teams I get matched with. When I do find myself behind, about half of the time it's my own fault and half of the time its the bot/mid lane that fed their laners all to hell.
I usually go jungle/top as my roles, and my main junglers are Diana, eve, hec, (though I haven't played him much this season) and sejuani, though I can play a lot of others, like pantheon, wukong, sion, xin Zhao, yi, and probably a few more that I'm missing.
As far as top goes, I usually stick to nasus, wukong, and irelia, and for the most part that gets me by.
I've been trying to climb solo, as I don't want to start playing ranked with my pals until im about where they are rank wise, so until I get to either S5 or S4 im going it alone.
Any tips or thoughts that might help me?
and nasus
are both good for bronze elo (especially cuz those games can drag on for nasus
(btw I Love this champ he is my OG main with Kassadin
and still call him my main) aren't ideal, yes Wu can snowball and be amazing but in top lane he can be countered so easy (cough garen
cough), I suggest to use Wu
, he is easy and strong (for both Jg and top, also believe he has a very good win rate rn). Now granted if you truly trust your best champs go for it, I tell my team each game in the lobby "go your best champ guys so we can win". Lastly, since you made this article in the first place, it seems your mindset is faltered (aka tilt). I suggest you go check out this guy on YouTube called scrapcomputer, he post really helpful vids, his best ones are what tilt is and how to avoid it (2 parts) . . . it is absolutely insane how much that video helped me when I was on tilt. He also puts up detailed guides to champs if you want, but the main thing is to have that right mindset.
