The new damage masteries are still too generalist and the new tank masteries are too specific.

Don't make this another over-loaded damage meta, Riot.

You're basically giving pretty much everyone more options for damage, while making the defensive masteries too specific to actually be of use to the large majority of champions that would actually think about taking them. Yeah, the damage ones are a little more situational than the old ones, but they occur WAY more often than the defensive ones. 10%+2/lvl armor/mr buff for 2 seconds? 8 armor/mr near towers? Really?

8 armor/MR won't be enough to change much of anything under tower.

10% armor/mr +2/lvl for 2 seconds mostly helps tanks that were caught out of position, who are probably still going to die. The other factor is initiation, where their team would probably win the engagement with or without this mastery if the engaging tank is getting focused. Not only this, but it only enables the 1v5 tank mindset that makes everyone think tanks are weak.

The only good change is Courage of the Colossus, which will simply replace Bond of Stone as the tank support mastery anyway. You should have replaced Bond of Stone, not Strength of the Ages.

I like that they remove SotA tbh. No more "why is this Lee/Nida/whatever so tanky, he/she has no hp items?"... Was kind of frustrating lol.

Yeah, there is that aspect. However, it could have been more elegantly approached by providing another mastery that was useful for some of the lower-CC junglers.

Or even adding a portion of SotA effects to cinderhulk with an appropriate price bump, since it was already seen as a little underwhelming.

As long as its not a flat HP buff to it on-purchase, it wouldn't be too drastic of a buff.

Keystones are supposed to be specific, not the ones above.

Do you think TLD should be a little more specific, then? Make it 3 spells instead of 3 instances of damage and it would be a bit less generalist.

Fervor is currently for anyone that auto attacks, with equal effects for ranged/melee. Give ranged a penalty with it and maybe then you could consider Fervor a little less generalist.

Hopefully Riot addresses keystones a little more.
