The whole domination tree is just horribly designed.

It's just a tree based on getting as many kills as possible to make your runes even stronger. A fed champion gets way more benefit from the domination tree than an unfed champion. This leads to something called "double snowballing", where not only you snowball because of more gold and exp, your runes snowball as well. In the old rune system, everyone got the same benefit from runes and masteries regardless of how fed they are.

isn't that why it's called domination?

i dont like runes reforged at all.

i think the old rune/mastery system was better.

the issue with the old system was the fact that runes were gated behind lvl /IP cost where all riot had to do was remove both of these and problem fixed.

the new rune system gives soo much power into the runes its harder to balance champs/items around it.

but then again i said a long time ago to help fix balance issues is to remove runes/masteries from the game and balance champs and items with out the influence of runes or masteries.

It has been recently nerfed but it is suppose to be more of a snowballing tree.

How about looking into champions in your role that play through the Resolve tree. That is more defense and suppose to prevent snowballing champions. Otherwise just get better then your opponent so you can abuse the Domination tree more effectively.
