Here's a suggestion for a new temporary mod: Boss Fight! Essentially, it's a 1vs5.
All 6 players start at level 18. The 5 players can't buy any items. The lonely player has infinite money (But still can only buy 6 items).
Both the team and the Boss can ban 3 champions.
BOSS FIGHT! can take place on both Summoner's Rift or the Howling Abyss.

And even if someone CC'd her, the lack of items would mean they couldn't do anything to her but wait until her spells are back off cooldown. And that's just one example.

I wouldnt pick katarina as the boss. I would pick a sustainable champion like Irelia who can also deal damage
Lost R1 votesAscension mode was basically this. It also caused players to pick mostly glass cannon champions so they could nuke the entire enemy team down once they became the Ascendant. I went the other way and picked a champion that could take down the Ascendant. And that champion... is Lulu.
