Why is Aatrox so bad?

He was shit before his rework and shit after his rework. Aatrox is supposed to be this really sustained fighter that dives in and kill things. What we get is a trash version of Tryndamere.

Riot doesn't like champions that heal themselves a lot. They hated Vladimir and would not mess with spell vamp because of him.

For some reason though, they let Soraka and Akali alone though. Assholes.

Rush trinity force into full tank. avoid lifesteal, take resolve. spirit visage, sterak’s.

you can get lethal tempo but i take grasp.

Not really that bad. Just gotta recognize when he shines in situation. Unfortunately not a lot of opportunities is offered

Well, first, he hasn't gotten his rework yet. He has one planned to come a little later down the line sometime after Swain and maybe before or after Irelia, it's not clear when exactly except that it is relatively soon. Secondly, it's mainly because of Bramble Vest and the fact his kit is pretty bland anyways. It was forced to be what it is because an Aatrox in the old days of League with balanced numbers was incredibly hard to balance. Now Bramble is in the game and he is just lackluster in general.
