Why the fuck did you do this to Aatrox?
Why the fuck did you make this cool champion into another weeb version of riven? A champion that would beat your ass with auto attacks is now jumping around waving a sword around with a cringe ass voice.

Can someone explain to me why flailing a sword back and forth over and over again considered cooler and less weeby than actual different styles of attacks
Call him Riven, and make fun of his voice sure but uh... I fail to see HOW he swings his sword now as a bad thing.
His new kit looks awesome man
I was hyped for new aatrox for a solid 20 minutes after the reveal came out. then I watched the ability reveal. I was like "okay... Q is cool. W is interesting. E seems sloppily thrown in there at the last minute but at least he has a bit of mobility I guess." Then I saw his skins and the hype built even more.
Then I listened to his voice lines...... and boom. It was gone. Just like that. His voice work is the most ill-informed, hastily put together, obnoxious to listen to, least similar to the source material trash fire I've ever heard.
Galio's new voice lines are nothing like his original. At all. But at least ON THEIR OWN, they are actually decent and vaguely endearing. You can see that the brashness and child-like nature of his character hides a sad and somber soul.
Aatrox is just screaming to scream at people. And he doesn't even do that well. Every other voice line has some kind of meme or joke shoehorned into it. And the random switch to what sounds like a bad imitation of a german accent makes it.... SO much cringier. I can't even listen to it it hurts my ears.

Definitely, a champ that lacks any kind of utility and his kit is based on aa 24/7 is much funnier. Tbh Aatrox looks like one of the coolest reworks they've done this year, I wish they reworked the champs I used to play like this.
It was for excitement to make money. And as you can see the boards and social media are now active about it, and that was the goal, because the change was surely not needed.
His rework is fantastic, as someone who had a horrible time M7'ing this asshole I am glad he is getting changed. He was literally useless without tiamat and guinsoos before.
I just prefer his old voice. That calm, yet intimidating demeanor he gave off was always bad ass to me.
My issue now is that he's 90% skinny legs. & I liked his old voice more.
I love the new aatrox... His new voice/ personality is what i'm not so sure about.
The vengeance and havoc is fine, but I always saw him as the dark or, I guess, more serious character... At minimum, I never saw him as a Russian.
I begun the game in 2k16, this dude became my first main, first M7 etc... I really love the design the idea to have the wings only with ur ult is cool and the sword is cool too but, his name is aatrox i'm not sure but i think it means AUTO ATTACK ROX and when i saw him on pbe i just saw a guys who do spell like riven, miserable dash and some other things like that, where is the rox of auto? I loved to play my aatrox with my attack speed and some tankyness to survive tho but if this dude just do spells and don't need to rox auto, better rename it, no more Aatrox.... so i'm a lil bit disappointed but i did not played the champ yet so i'll wait bur for now i'm disappointed
