Riot focuses too heavily on Creep Score for Mastery Rating

Here is a link to the average CS a person needs to level up Via CSing

Meanwhile 1 Champion kill = 50% of experience towards your next level

So why is it that Champion kills are so insignificant compared to Creep Score To Achieve higher mastery ratings when you gain a larger amount of experience for kills

I Get that Creep Score is also a skill factor and that Players who can CS better will often get higher scores, but it seems that at this point, you wont get an S (even if you have a very good KDA) unless you have around 250+ CS

I literally had a Poppy on my team go 4/7/6 but she had 340 CS so that somehow earns her an S even though her KDA was pretty poor

Riot is Promoting AFK farming too much with this method, poppy could farm all game and not teamfight but could still get a better score than the rest of us that got kills and objectives.

I feel like CSing relates more to personal skill and not champion-related skill so why should it have such a large effect on Champion Mastery?

Argument is flawed, good CS leads to overall good game play.

A lot can technically be considered personal skill though, couldn't it?

Fair but i think Outplaying enemies is more skillful than last hitting creeps, would you say the same?

Last hitting creep is a part of outplaying you opponent in lane...

My frustration is that I get an S nami game when I have more cs. I'm sorry I learned not to bubble the back line so that my adc could get the cs rather than me. I shouldn't get and A+ just because I have like 6 cs. I back with my ADC so I'm not put into the position of cs'ing alone. It shouldn't count for supports.

You want to shoot for around 20 cs on support in general. There is always time to grab a couple not at the cost of denying it from your team. I bubble the backline to soften them up often enough for my adc.

Remember you are being compared to other Nami supports. To get S or higher, you need to be a cut above the rest. There's nothing wrong with having kills and cs on a support, within reason. That mentality of self denial is antiquated at best.

look at my match history The last 3 games have been S ranked supports ( in a ranked game ) I didn't have amazing cs i just took the blows for my team and stunned every chance i got

Hahaha, nice joke. From every one I know and every match I remember it's literally only kills/deaths difference that affects champion mastery.
