Riot, has somebody gotten Lethality twisted?

6/27 PBE Update

Lethality

>Lethality now calculated based on owner's level.

    >LIVE: "Lethality reduces your target's armor by a flat amount based on your target's level when applying physical damage."

    >PBE: "Lethality ignores a flat amount of your target's armor based on your level when applying physical damage."

Wasn't the whole fucking point of changing flat armor pen into Lethality an attempt to avoid the ridiculous snowball that getting ahead and purchasing assassin items enabled? Thus allowing for them to have more varied effects and utility profiles?

This seems like you're tuning Lethality items and the stat itself to actually be more feast-or-famine. For assassins.

I'd say they do that so marksmen in duo lanes get less benefit form the stat than a sololaner - not a bad thing imho.

they should just take it back to flat pen if they're doin that, lol

Riot has no fucking idea what they're doing. They've just been changing things randomly for the last few year and hoping it works.

Most of u seems to misunderstand this change. This change don't make lethality a "ridiculous snowball" thing like back then. Its still be below old arpen flat. Even after the change u don't gain the full arpen stat till the lv18.

Thus allowing for them to have more varied effects and utility profiles?

So ?? Isn't youmuu, duskblade & EoN varied enough ? mainly now, since the removal of movement speed ooc.

Riot buffed Assassin midgame (with theses changes).
