@Riot I'm not one to be so bold to ask directly, but this is really bothering me about Yasuo

I'll admit, perhaps my perception of balance is..."off". For one, I don't think Riven or Ahi are OP. But something is really bothering me in regards to Yasuo.

I understand that his windwall blocks anything that is a projectile. Love it or hate it, it's a great skill, does its job well, and has immediate, satisfying reward for heat of the moment responses. But my issue with it is something that I believe should NOT be blocked by the windwall, and it's of course, nothing other than Draven Draven. (yeah I know, Yasuo adc is rare, but it DOES happen)

You have not understood despair until you have laned against Yasuo as Draven. He is the only adc whose damage can LITERALLY be 100% blocked. At least with the likes of Caitlyn, whose Q,E,and R is blocked, can still AUTO ATTACK for damage. Fair enough. Yasuo can trade a skill for Caitlyns skill. But Dravens ENTIRE kit is negated with windwall, an interaction that I believe should not exist in the first place.

Draven's damage is significantly budgeted into his Q, and his passives entire function is to make him use Q. But you literally cannot use it, putting you at an EXTREME disadvantage. If you even dare, you literally cannot damage Yasuo until Q expires. The only way to get around it is to literally get around his windwall, something that Yasuo will be smart enough to not use until you Q.

How the heck does Q even get blocked in the first place, that's what I'd like to know. It's literally an auto attack. Kassadin can auto attack with W, and so can Nasus, but Draven is an exception?

His E and R are fair game to be blocked, but never had I seen anything so ridiculous happen. I'd seriously love for that to be looked into, or at least explained why it is the way it is.

Again, I am NOT advocating for a Yasuo nerf in any way, shape or form.

All ranged auto attacks are blocked by Windwall (except for Thresh and Kayle since they're not projectiles).

Are you sure? I was fairly certain that anyone was capable of auto attacking Yasuo by default. If it blocks "all ranged auto attacks" then he could just deflect all adc damage by throwing a wind wall in front of himself? That doesn't sound right..

(im bronze so take my thought with a grain of salt)

It's intentionally designed that way, yes. It's to help him be a squishy melee guy. When he throws up Windwall, the best thing to do is either back away so he has to move through it to reach you, or reposition yourself so that its not between you and him.

Well then, doesn't that just dismantle my entire thread, then. This is kind of embarrassing x.x
