I don't recall seeing this change listed in the patch notes, but now her Q isn't bound to the character in the sense that it will not immediately fire once you cast it. If you click beyond her range, she will move before firing. This is very very distracting and causing a whole bunch of issues with landing the skill. Please revert this change.
EDIT: I just noticed that this issue is being addressed in the "Report a Bug" tacked post at the top. My bad.
wolfax3 votesIf you haven't seen it's a known bug with several abilities that target the same way. They are working on a fix for it. There's 2-3 red posts confirming it and asking for any other affected champions.

Centuros1 votesThis has ALWAYS happened to Viktor. It's just that if you cast the laser within range while moving, you won't stop. Casting with the starting point out of range has always input a move command to get in range.
After all, if you place a line, you probably want the line right there, not in the same direction a hundred units closer.
