Janna has 55.5% winrate and no nerfs this patch.
Even though she is the most nerfed champ in the game, she received so many indirect buffs through support item changes and she still has a very low skill floor.

People mindlessly pick Lee Sin/Jarvan/Zac etc into a janna and thats why she has a high Winrate.
No, Janna does not have a low skill floor. Playing her right is one of the hardest in the game.
If people knew not to pick divers into Janna she'd be 30% winrate right now.
Sorry the winrate in a web never will be a reason to nerf a champ and anyways it never show the reality of a individual champ.
supports can't be op

supports can't be op
I know right?
It's a good thing they are not op then.
sure thing bubbi
She's also a counter to divers/assassins. Pick mages into her and she doesn't do nearly as much. She's going to be astrong in this meta.
It isn't an assassin meta.
It isn't an assassin meta.
With duskblade and champ using it bursting people down though, Janna is great at saving people so it's only natural her winrate would be high.
Does she needs nerf though? I'm not too sure. Balancing support like Janna is tricky because she isn't bursting people down, so if you nerf the only thing she's good at she won't be playable at all. Not to mention her kit is one of those where she's either useless or super strong in a meta where everyone is bursting each other.

But the other half of this meta is the REAL counter to Duskblade: Tanks. You can't tell me Duskblade is why Janna's strong, simply because Janna's strong in basically ANY meta someone can think of, with no explanation as to why she's allowed to be top tier all the time.

Janna doesn't need a nerf. We've nerfed her 5k times at this point. She needs a rework. She shouldn't be the best at every defensive function a support could have in this game at the same time. That's where the problem is. She just gets a ton of mileage playing a very simple and reactive game.

She is strong in any meta, but in particular when the meta revolve around one shotting people she's even stronger. If you rely on burst to kill people and can't do it in one rotation then you're very vulnerable and very weak until your combo is back up. Janna can easily and reliably disrupt whoever is trying to burst your squishy down. Now the fight is in your favor because the enemy failed to kill your squishies.

Locket + E + R. That discussion just ended.
