I liked his passive better when it was Blood Good.
Stupid grammar nazis.
Here's the thing - they renamed it from "Blood Rush" to "Hellbent" to avoid ability name overlap with Draven's W, Blood Rush. That's not to say that they aren't still keeping an eye on Aatrox, because they only recently hotfixed in some balance changes to him and need to see where he's landed. Don't take it as "oh, so renaming a passive buff is top priority, riot doesn't care about balance" - take it as "Riot's cleaning up something they overlooked when they shipped the change, and are still trying to see what they need to do with Aatrox to make him balanced".
The first post is obviously just being smartass. The OP is clearly annoyed about the Aatrox rework but their post probably isn't the beginning and end of their reasons... especially since he explicitly references "champions failures".
Also I imagine there's lots of us that are going to interpret any sticking to the direction Riot's going with his kit as the wrong call. Weirdly making Aatrox a timing-based fighter like Ryze or Ashe's stack-building abilities is... pretty hard to justify. With that in mind, you, also, shouldn't take any of this to mean that Riot has the right takeaway when looking at what's wrong with Aatrox or what they're doing with him. =P
Lots of fans have been saying that this is a bad direction for Aatrox (and one that's not going to fix his problems), so you might as well get used to seeing posts like these as people get more and more annoyed with what's always going to feel like Riot not paying attention.
? Where did you see this, announcement on this?
surr20 news.
http://www.surrenderat20.net/2017/03/313-pbe-update.html What BS they didn't do anything else, just renamed it as if that was the priority

Solid work
Lmao
Guys, it's Monday. You act like they immediately stop patch changes on the PBE at the end of the day. We still have at least 2-3 more days of balance changes this week.
11/10 changes tysm rito
I haven't played Aatrox in a long time so it's news to me that he's nonviable right now but honestly, his old play pattern was really fun and I have no idea why "melee ryze" was the direction anyone thought they should take with him.
Why does every god damn champion have to have stacks or marks of some kind these days? Riot's completely lost sight of the notion of simple, elegant designs. Simple can still be varied... and Aatrox's old play patterns were both. Fix him up... don't turn him into Ryze.
