Where/when is Teemo good?

I know this is a dumb question because nobody likes Teemo, but aside from counterpicking non-gapclosing melee units, is Teemo good anywhere?

I have a fondness for the guy but don't play him much. Just tried out Supportmo in Blinds and I fed waaaaaay too hard. I'm scared now. XD

I've played him with success as the bot lane guy. Having a support around makes a delicate champ pretty good. With the movement speed and the blinding action he's actually not bad with AD items.

How do you keep him good may I ask? I know the Blind would do amazing down there, but that is all I see doing good. His E would do nonexistant damage and his R would be just a way to slow someone since the damage would be ignorable.

Just curious how he would fair again people like Kog, Kalista, Vayne, MF and Trist which are all go to ADCs.

Do not bother to learn your poison darts ability unless there's nothing else to learn since it just makes it harder to secure minion kills. With the extra mobility, you shouldn't have much trouble avoiding their harass. I use AS quints and marks and MR glyphs and armor seals both scaling runes. The attack speed really comes in handy and is more value than damage for your rune slot because you will stick to them like glue due to your passive movement speed bonus ability so your extra attack speed isn't wasted. Then you build AD items because AD items are strong right now. Personally, I like Duskblade on him. Sure, it's not amazing on its own, but let your team burst someone down first... if you're busy farming or setting up your traps somewhere and your allies manage to chase some enemies in your direction it can come in handy. Essentially you play him like Sivir, only instead of blocking a spell from the annoying support, you block heavy damage from the annoying marksman.

Oh yeah, and the mastery page...I like Fervor of Battle since he has lots of mobility to take advantage of it. Runic Armor is pretty good, too.

About the traps, I would assume it's basic knowledge but you put them in your lane behind both minion waves to make it painful for anyone to jump you or your support. With traps put down any jungle or mid that comes to get you will have a problem. You can also put them at the river to catch them off guard. They move slowly which means you don't need to activate your sprint for a while. What makes Teemo relaxing as a champ is that you don't have to mash buttons to succeed with him like you would have to do for some champs.

i would suggest this video ( https://youtu.be/gRK-8lEsmV0 ) but i am a fan of LS and his teachings so maybe i'm biased.

Teemo is good every where. All hail our lord and savior teemo the lord of darkness.

That depends on if your playing with Draft mode and if you or your laner picks first, or if it's Blind pick. Teemo is generically played top lane, as his best role to play in, as he has DoT damage and range. He is agile and can pre-plan by placing Shrooms and utilizing his passive. His Q is a tremendous benefit against auto-attack reliant champions (like Nasus or any aa centric ADC).

He can be built into either full magic damage or on-hit damage.

Teemo is really good in countering juggernauts and most of the bruisers, as long as enemy doesn't have really awful kit for Teemo to play against like Yorick Olaf Pantheon, Teemo will win or at least draw the lane, simple gap closing is not enough.

If you understand tankier Teemo setups, like armor runes + mallet, he also does quite well vs most assassins - surprisingly.

Honestly as long as you have good footwork and don't get to play vs champion with 0 outplay potential, you can do pretty much anything with Teemo i.e. lately Teemo jungle has seen some play in soloQ.

Teemo is both good and bad. He technically is good against any melee champs, and he does indeed kick their ass early in the game. The only issue is just about every toplaner outscales him and will win in the end. The only way to stay ahead as Teemo is to literally make sure you kill them over and over and not allow them to farm since even very little farm they will eventually outdo you.

Perfect example is Nasus or Garen, both are extremely countered by Teemo. They both downright can't do shit til about lvl9 or like 10-15 minutes in. But both will kick his ass once they get an MR item down since at that point they can usually ignore his now weak attacks and kick his ass since Teemo doesn't have any survivability at all other than kill you before you kill him or run away, which he can't really do against mega slow or Garen which can just Q and keep up.

I do some cheesy builds that rely on abusing counter picking and involve botrk + lissandrys + ungodly ap. Early and mid make tops life hell, late ya just chill by adc. eat any and all tanks that dive, blind the first assassin that dives. spam /l every time shroom kills some one. Probally not something i would take to ranked but its great for generating hatered, and lets be honest is that not why one plays teemo?
