On average.....
How many games does it take to reach: bronze? silver? gold? platinum? master? challenger?
Is there any way to find a statistic for this?

dunno but I just wanted to point out that even if you reach gold you may still find yourself losing to bronze players under some conditions
Just git gud and don't worry too much about which sticker the games gives you unless you just need your end of year skin
I just want to believe I can climb out of my current Elo eventually, I'm getting a bit discouraged right now.

Focus on getting better.
Everytime you lose a game climbing out should in theory become harder.
You need to figure out what it is you don't know how to do and learn that and then some.
My advice? Don't stress about it. When I was climbing out of Bronze 5 as a lowly support main, I always did better when I stopped caring about the rank and worrying about LP. Focus on each game playing your game and make sure you have fun doing it. You will climb
How does anyone have fun playing this game with all the flamers, feeders, afkers and all around bs that goes on in league?
I have actually. I mean, yeah those games when someone gets mad and either afks or runs down mid make you feel like crap, so does those times when a player or two decide to target you for the blame game and make you hate this game sometimes more than a bit, but there are games in there that make you keep coming back. Nice plays, great teammates. Those games do happen too
What keeps me coming back is that I want to become great at the game though i doubt that will happen. plus I'm addicted and have been since the game was released
I've been in just about every elo throughout the years except master and Challenger.
Bronze-Silver = 0-50. Usually you get placed here and it requires little to no effort to be in this elo considering its about 80 percent of the playerbase.
Gold- Depends on your skill but assuming you are a bronze-silver player improving slowly about 150 games if you can maintain above a 50 percent w/l.
Plat - Same as gold except probably 200-250 games
Diamond- The climb through plat is difficult even if you are a skilled player so generally good people in Diamond have 500+ games
Master- Same as Diamond
Challenger- This is generally Pro players so this takes them a lot less games to reach then other high elos. Most of them have between 200-400 Games
This just confirms it's going to take a long time for me to even hit silver.
Go watch soloRenekton only's guide on manipulating waves and his tips. Then go watch Tarzaned give his tips. Follow them and analyze your own mistakes. Don't ever flame no matter what. Do that and you will reach silver easily
Might as well, watching challengers play isn't helping as much as I thought.
I think that that is going to be very hard to quantify... It depends on too many variables like personal skill, current MMR, and luck, also arguably meta. But I will give it a shot on my own experiences...
Bronze- On a new account freshly starting ranked, it's really a matter of how many losses you can get in placements... I tried this on a new account and got Bronze 1 going 3-7 so I will say anywhere between 0-3 wins, but since placements are 10 games, the answer is 10.
Silver- One season I was placed in Bronze 5 and climbed to Gold. From B5 to Silver 5 it took about 70 games. This can be done in less if you get to skip divisions with a high enough win rate.
Gold- The climb through silver is actually harder than it is through bronze because players actually have larger egos and there tend to be a lot of smurfs and trolls around. This one took me about 100 games to climb from silver 5 to gold 5
As for the rest... I'm not sure, I have yet to really dedicate much time into climbing this season and haven't gotten or really attempted to get much higher than gold.
My prediction is that with a high enough win rate and many good win streaks, the bare min to reach each would be 100 games from gold to plat, 100 games from plat to diamond, 200-300 games from diamond to masters, and then challenger... I won't even attempt to guesstimate that :P
