Free boots are also pretty average of those numbers on not just the NA LCS but the entire first week. In fact the entire Inspiration tree is just mad crazy. First week stuff!

considering that one rune essentially gives you the ability to deny a lot of stuff one time in lane for no cost whatsoever and even helps you build another item later in the game if you were going to build it to begin with. While the other is just "i can't buy boots until X amount of time and then i get boots for free!" i don't think both runes can really compare

Which is why I said the entire inspiration tree is mad crazy. Whether it be primary or secondary and depending on the circumstances, there's variables like number of stopwatches and free boots (let alone number of Inspiration) pop up per game.

ok... so would you rather everyone just pick more damage masteries instead? or that they buff the damage masteries just because people are not picking those as both secondary and primary in every single game?

I never implied that in a complaining demeanor. Especially when I've had my share of players prior to the competitive season labeling me a troll for weaving around with builds involving Spellbook.

I honestly enjoy all of this more than you think.
