New Drake effects and other PreSeason changes!

Towards mid game Drakes will now have permanent effects on the map. https://imgur.com/ZSI1Mmz.png[] Infernal breaks down certain walls and burns up brush! https://imgur.com/c4kVRp5.png[] Earth adds and changed various terrain! https://imgur.com/TZD6UH8.png[] Ocean causes new brush to spawn and also spawns more honey fruit! https://imgur.com/lnsGb4O.png[] Cloud causes wind tunnels to appear granting movement buffs! Cloud drake also now gives CDR!

All drakes now have an additional effect that isn't revealed yet.

And Elder is losing it stats for a new execution effect. https://imgur.com/n7zlqpx.png[]

And a new brush spot by Blue Buff for you Garen mains! https://imgur.com/YfuJMCG.png[]

I wouldn't really call it RNG. You can choose not to take a dragon in order to give the ones you've taken more time to dominate the map. You have some control over how the map will change.

That's not how it works though

Rise of the Elements will bring SR to life as the primal magic of the Elemental Drakes changes the landscape each game. The third drake transforms the Rift before it spawns and after that, its element will be the only one to spawn for the remainder of the game.

so you can try to delay the second dragon takedown to prevent transforming, but at that point you don't even know yet what element it will be.

Isn't that more cool, playing in a living map changing by course of game? I think it is really great idea unlike many other mobas we got a living map!

The top/bot alcoves seem so pointless, unless of course they're going to stuff a buff camp in there.

The map RNG is going to break everything... the terrain changes especially. It will break team comps that should otherwise succeed or fail depending on what they need

The new brush positions are a trap for the jungler. Really really bad.

The new part of the side map is better riot give a good reason to go there or people will maximum go there to run from a skill idk. Unless u are a champ with TP or tp ultimate, that area without anything looks bad.

New map with drag, cool they wil add new gameplay, looks fun and finally cdr to cloud (aspd would work too but whatever).

Elder buff ... riot will never change (IS THE WORST).

Support marskman.... does she can survive against assassin? Looks weird for me.

Map evolving is an interesting concept, definitely not needed or wanted but could be cool. Its doubling down on a direction players are ambivalent about as it is but it makes sense. We're missing the shop stalls in those side lanes though....

?? They nerfed the jungle and hid it in the notes for top lane, jungle exp is being reduced again so while you will hit 3 guaranteed after 3 camps you will hit level 6 last every game now, new bushes hurt junglers as those are spots an enemy could be sitting without you knowing it.

This update will break the legs of most junglers and only 3 will be playable this season.

Welp, that is the end of another season 3 player, back to Dota 2 where, if they are going to change something they ask for opinions and is a game that you can only balance IF you play it because let's remember, that "playing the game is not neccesary in order to balance it" is Riot's logo

This adds something league has been needing for a while i think.

Variance to how games play out, with different elements things can play out differently instead of being more or less the same.

No the third drake to spawn determines what happens. And all changes effect both sides of the map.
