Bottom is 0-6-0, mid is 0-4-0 at 10 minutes. This shouldn't be happening in every Diamond+ game.

This is getting to the point that it's really fucking stupid. 150 games this season, and not one has been good or close. Every single game is decided by which team has someone AFK feeding.

In my last game, bottom and mid had a combined 10 deaths and 0 kills at 10 minutes. The enemy jungle was 0-0-0; it played no part in any of these kills. At least one of the players on our team didn't know how to play the champion it picked.

This really isn't okay. I play ranked because I want good games where everyone is trying, not one sided stomps because someone is trying a new champion or got carried to Diamond.

tbh, i dont think people would be complaining so much if they werent playing "perfectly" I get mad too, alot less vocal about it I suppose but it does bother me that 9/10.. its truly not ME who is the cause of my team's demise and in that 1/10 game where i fuq up... people berate me too super common stuff

That's my point, you can always be better than where you are. When you start blaming everyone else around you it's just an easy excuse for why you lost. You could play really well, but if you lost, you weren't good enough.

I believe it's one thing to lead a competent team to victory and another to carry 4 morons to victory

It's not really "gg" when you get 1 sided stomped or you just stomp them or you're a worthless sack of shit but someone carried ur ass or when they have a guy who is carrying their worthless sacks of shit all of which just doesnt feel fair whether you win or lose

After half an hour, I realized that my team had 0 teamfight synergy and 0 map awarenss. Only Caitlin and I were competent in terms of objectives. So I just stuck to one lane and pushed. Pushed up, died, and continued pushing. Cait did the same, but she would go and attempt to help our team on occasion. If it wasn't for the two inhibitors I got on my own, my team would have suffered a miserable defeat because they weren't even trying to get objectives.

When the game ended, Nasus and Zyra went on a spree about how well they each did, how they carried, and were surprised they won with an Aatrox so bad.................................................

My KDA was all they cared about, not the complete shift in us losing every dragon/teamfight/ward, into suddenly "oh we can get baron, bot lane is pushed to nexus turrets! oh wow"....

I don't get it.

Losses shouldn't be caused by team mates playing at a Silver level and being moving balls of mistakes. If they are, there's a problem with too many people being at ratings they don't belong at.

That support mains in a solo lane are likely to feed one trick ponies? That people are likely to go on tilt after getting told to drink bleach? That you don't need to be good at the game to hit Challenger? Only need to either be a one trick pony, a support main or someone who knows when/how to put themselves in a position to get carried?

If you're at Diamond and you go 0-4 at mid lane, with no jungle intervention, there's a serious problem and you don't belong at Diamond. This particular player was likely trying a new champion, because it was playing Twisted Fate and kept pulling the wrong cards or randomly ulting for no apparent reason; this should be considered trolling, because you're bringing down your entire team by pulling this shit.

Playing perfectly and going 1-8-0 are two completely different things. If you're playing so poorly that you're 1-8-0, there's a serious problem, and it's not just a 'bad game.'

If you can't play safely after dying or while having a bad game, you don't belong in Diamond, period.

This is getting really fucking stupid. The game has devolved to queuing and crossing your fingers and hoping it isn't your team that feeds. Just went 9-2-8 as Ahri, but it didn't matter, because the enemy ADC was 15-1-13.

It might be okay to say 'Everyone has bad games sometimes' if this happened every now and then, but every fucking game is like this.

This is pretty stupid.

I'm 11-2-6 Ahri, and it doesn't matter, because our top and jungle are basically turning the game into a 3v5. Our ADC told them to stop making stupid decisions and play better, and one of them reported them for verbal abuse.

Do you know what they did?

They farmed safely, and we won the game. This isn't a hard concept; everyone at Diamond should be capable of doing this, but it never happens. Knowing how to play should be a prerequisite.

I actually like Yenn, which is sort of Taboo on the forums, but I think the answer you are looking for is a Hard Reset.

The soft reset can only drop you so far that once you get high enough, you can pretty much stay close to that rank every following season.

Once a lane gets behind a few kills, there isn't much hope other than to stall the game out and hope the enemy team starts throwing.

Exactly. That is why you need a hard reset; it will be painful of course, but the ladder can't actually be taken as 'competitive' if good players are stuck at the bottom, because to quote you "there's no carrying". While terrible players who made it to the top once are afforded the luxury of staying there for far too long past their point of being 'good'

case in point the NFL starts over every year and every team has another equal chance at the super bowl. It wouldn't be very competitive if the Patriots got to start 5-0 next season now would it?

No carrying means there will be a ton of Diamond+ players stuck in Gold/Platinum, especially if they start the season late, and more bad players will climb because they got lucky with teams.

Lol. It happens because of players getting carried to Ranks they shouldn't be. That's basically it.

I just watched our 5-1-2 Katarina attempt to 1v1 the enemy ADC and fail four times in a row. It literally ran to the ADC the instant it respawned, went all-in, and died. Four. Fucking. Times. It didn't clue in; it just kept trying it, from 5-1-2 to 5-5-2

Later on, it kept engaging team fights and dying instantly. We had a Malphite and Leona.

There needs to be additional punishment for these players, that doesn't involve taking their teams down with them.

carrying is a myth.... you can be 50-0 but if your team is 0-10 it's done for. It's basic match 1 fed person against 5 fed enemy champions... i mean even if you get that triple you will still be outmatched by someone else who is just as fed as you because of your teams. League is completely a team based game, if you carry it's because your whole team gathered up on you and you finally win a teamfight that gives you the win - thats team work, you can't take all that credit. Another type of carry is your team is distracting the enemy team and you make it into the nexus and destroy iy - that's also teamwork even if youre by yourself your team is basicly doing the important work for you to destroy inhibs and get to the nexus. And the real type of carry is that person who just goes godlike on everyone and gives your team that advantage while in laning phase, which if you do, kudos... you deserve master. Even so, that still requires teamwork. Teamwork, it's what makes this game what it is.

Why is it that your teammates must be unskilled, and not that your opponents must be skilled? The better you get, the better you are at capitalizing on other people's mistakes. Maybe your teammate was trying out a new champion, but his lane opponent saw the weaknesses in his play and took advantage of them to get kills, rather than not noticing them. If you went 11-2-6, the other team could be blaming your lane opponent on it. Or, they could be supportive and focus on winning their own lanes and roaming/ganking/getting objectives.

If you are skilled and winning your lane matchup, your lane opponent must be worse then you. Therefore, for teams to be balanced, you would expect one of your teammates to be worse than their opponent. If they aren't, then that means either your MMR or their MMR is lower than it should be. When you are winning and your teammates are losing, you have to be the one to turn it around. You'd think you'd know that at Diamond though...

If you're at Diamond and you can't prevent yourself from dying in lane 8 times, there's a problem and you shouldn't be in Diamond. Carrying in this season is not possible, period, end of discussion. Burst is too heavy. There's no chance to 'outplay' your opponent if it's 3v5, unless they're drooling monkeys. Anything like an Annie can hover it's mouse over you and kill you.
