On a serious note though, Karthus NEEDS that slow just to survive. He's not a champion that is known for winning lane so why nerf the ONLY tool he has to survive through it?

They tiptoe around Lee Sin/Tahm Kench/Yasuo because they make flashy plays. Believe me, if Karthus was truly popular in LCS and made those flashy plays, he'd get the exact same treatment. It's why despite being a strong power pick back in Season 5, Sion has been left in the gutter because nobody picks him up to make those flashy plays anymore. He's been replaced by the Kench.
