With Yasuo getting so popular

I have been breaking back out. See seems to null him pretty well and actually carry harder than him late game. Her ult is just so good for dodging his Q's ever since the ult changes. I mean it's not an easy lane, but at 6 you can easily start to win the lane if you aren't suicidal before that and just poke him down. I usually rush into to help keep you alive.

But we may see Akali's era pop up again with Yasuo being really mainstream mid lane and she also counters pretty hard.

Shh...don't talk sense. Don't you know according to the boards Yasuo is an uncounterable monster with a .1 sec CD dash that can go through allied, enemy and towers? His windwall is on a 4 sec CD and eats half the lane. I mean there IS NO counter to that right? >_>..

People like me have told the boards of his counters, like Akali for awhile now. No one has listened yet. I doubt they'll start now.

I wish they'd just rework Akali.

She is literal cancer when popular. I'd rather have Heimer popular again than have to ban her every game.

Chogath shits on him in lane early.

Start with E to easily pop his shield while he goes to CS. You can then continue to harass him and just back off if he tries to go in on you for some cheese crits.

Once you get your silence and knock up, you can harass far better than he can... And also get him off if he goes for a trade. :D

I have seen some Yasuos win against Akali late game, once they have Hexdrinker. I am not sure if it's Akali who made misplays or if Yasuo can outscale Akali.

If you dodge his knock up its basically a free kill once you get zhonyas and gunblade. After you get magic pen he just starts to cry. You have to Q him first then wait until its up again to go in but I mean you can screw him up pretty hard if his tornado is down and you can even use your shroud to dodge and juke.

they both kill each other fast so its basically a reflex battle. not really a counterpick.

lots of champs can be picked to lane against him who will basically deprive him of farm early, assuming moderately similar skill. So that would make things hard for him. Akali isnt really reliable at that but i dont know if it matters. yasua seems a more utility based champ not a hypercarry.

btw since they do kill eachother fast, and yasuas ult means u cant attack, not really seeing why the gunblade is importnat to get vs him. It seems importnat for akali in general, but its not an anti yasua thing.

God I wanna cry. I main mid and Yasuo is literally my least favorite match up in the game. But now hes suddenly getting popular again for no reason and now hes in every fucking match. Its bad to the point that I wanna give up on league entirely until his popularity drops again. Hes frustrating both in lane phase, and late game.

Yasuo has always been popular you guys. Feast or famine champions will always be popular. Akali fits that bill too even though she does counter him and is less popular. Everyone thinks that they won't fall into famine mode with these champions though. Whoever loses that lane can prepare to be irrelevant for the rest of the game unless someone starts giving you many kills.

The reason they're so popular is because of how oppressive they are when they get ahead or win the lane. They snowball into killing machines that are hard to shut down unless you can coordinate with your team.
