Scuttle crabs that give red & blue buffs? A transcendent golden scuttle crab that offers gold?

I suggested a change like this before in a generalized river post regarding the river in general. This time around i wanna revisit the idea and switch things up while talking about what this can bring to the game. First idea being the addition of red & blue scuttle crabs. The second being the addition of the transcendent golden scuttle crab mini game !

#Thoughts on current red & blue buffs

As of right now in my games the red and blue buffs have gotten quite contested towards the mid game and i dont feel like its necessarily good or bad but it does feels linear ina way. Sometimes as a solo queue jungle player i feel like i shouldn't give mid blue or my ADC my red like that. I think of it as more of an investment when i do, if the on my team is like 5/0/3 then of course im more than likely to give him my blue. But if he has some deaths or uneven KDA or i just cant trust this guy completely i feel conflicted with deciding to give the buff or not.

#Red & blue scuttle crabs? This idea would grant another source from where we can get red & blue buffs via new red / blue scuttle crabs.

Way it works is after at least the first regular scuttle is slain and the red/blue buffs make they're second spawn around the next crab in the river will be blue or red granting the buff if slain.

These two crabs will have distinctive personalities apart the red being aggressive and actually fighting back and the blue more prone to playing tricks on you ;)

Short list of issues this can tackle:

• Mid comes when you ping your blue, your forced to smite it during an unexpected invasion and your mid laner never gets blue.
• Your behind in gold and exp and cannot risk giving the buff this time around.
• You dont actually need the buff right now but the enemy jungler already took it and your ally could use the buff.
• You just cant trust an ally with your buff right now.
• You want to give your allies as much buffs as you possibly can at the moment.
• Discourages toxic behavior such as a teammate deliberately taking your buff without permission or out of spite.

#Golden crab raising mini game?

This idea i never thought of till tonight.. but what if we a more beneficial motive for feeding the scuttle crab? what if feeding it over time could pay off with a bundle of gold?

The regular scuttle crab becomes this mini game between you, your teammates and your enemies..

Who will feed the crab to its golden ripeness? who will take all the glory ?!

The scuttle crab eats and eats till something magnificent happens.. it turns gold !

Think Harry potter and the golden snitch, This golden transcendent crab will be swifter, smarter, and a real pain in the ass to catch and kill than the others

The winner?

gets 1250 gold !!!
