Rageblade on shyvana any good.

Im a long time shyvana main. I've played her since Some first started playing league. So rageblade has been appearing on shyvana in Korea. I've been here since preseason 5. Rageblade was originally good on paper but in reality, the reason I originally thought it was good was because the sated devour phantom prick combined with the on hit with shyvana. Shyvana uses mostly aa's and her abilities make them do more damage. Her q deals bonus damage and double procs on hit effects. He's a gives her extra on hit damage which scales with ad and ap. it also gives her a fire ring that damages enemies in an air and increases move speed. The e is a skillshot that adds 2.5% on hit damage. The problem with stacking rageblade is the stacks are on attack. She also builds boodrazor. This wouldn't be an issue if they didn't remove sated devour which made shyvana pretty broken but it also made Yi broken who now uses rageblade. I tried the recently and did pretty good. Building it makes the game a bumpy ride until you start building tank. I rushed hotel the guinsoos then proceeded to get Titanic Hydra and DMP. I sold boots for a zeal into a PD (never got to PD). It gives 5% ms. My score was 18/9/9. Nobody could duel me and im not sure if they could even 2v1 me. The problem with rageblade is the build path and it takes time to ramp up. Keep in mind I run exhaust instead of flash. So is it good on shyvana or should I stick with frozen mallet.

Jungle shyvanna, I wouldn't even bother with rageblade until the fourth or fifth item. I always go cinderhulk, hydra, then full tank, and then Triforce to replace boots if the game goes super late. I've been ignoring frozen mallet completely, as I don't think it gives her that good of stats, especially since chilling smite does a great slow.

I'm pretty much unstoppable with that build, and I don't need to do any weird on-hit build with rageblade as the centerpiece. The ramping is also a lot smoother. But idk, if the Koreans are doing it, might as well follow along.

Bloodrazor is the norm on shyvana. So is botrk. They have on hit effects. Botrk gives lifesteal and as (but not as much anymore). Also remember devour titanic? That was probably the most broken shit at the time and I actually abused it before it caught wind since a guide recommend it to me for that reason while she was under the radar and everyone watched trick and was trying to open the gates but fed if they were on your team and destroyed if on the enemy team and also watched cowsep with tank Yi. She is no stranger to on hit. The reason I build frozen mallet and run all these slows is because you need to stick on them for as long as possible. If you can stick to them, they are pretty much dead. I'd definitely recommend exhaust on guinsoos shyvana. Without any cc, she needs to supplement that through items like botrk, frozen mallet, DMP, stalkers blade, and also exhaust and ghost help as well. Pick one. The only bad thing about exhaust is that it isn't a shutdown to assassins anymore because they removed the as debuff.

I've tried Cinderhulk Shyvana several times and I disagree on it being good on her. Her damage is lackluster. My thinking now is that if I need early tankyness on a jungler, it's better to go with someone like Warwick who can still do a lot of damage even with a Cinderhulk start or Sejuani if I want a real tank. Shyvana isn't about that. She is a juggernaut, meant to be played like Darius or Garen, which means, a shit tonne of damage while being beefy enough to dive into the enemy team.

My typical build with her starts with rushing item 1416 item 3006. From here I go one of two ways. If I'm behind either by dying or just levels and farm, I get a tank item next. If I'm doing just fine I get item 3748. My 4th items depends on my confidence about the game. If me and my team are getting ahead, I just abuse that and go item 3078, if not, the rest of my items go into pure defense.

I've tried to make Cinderhulk Shyvana work many times but it feels so horrible. She needs damage early more than beefyness. Not saying someone can't make it work but I don't recommend it at all.

Same, it hurts her clear speed too much. While the bonus health could be good later in the game, it's not worth sacrificing your early game for that. That early attack speed is just too important.

Oh yea. I forgot to mention that as well. It really hurts her jungle clearing to start with Cinderhulk. Attack speed is the most important stat for early jungle clears. With Bloodrazor, she can clear multiple camps and still have a decent enough amount of health to gank and duel. With Cinderhulk, not only is her clear speed a lot slower, she takes too much damage from camps relative to a Bloodrazor start. Also, she is a piss poor duelist with Cinderhulk. She'll lose 1v1s to practically anyone. She is god with Bloodrazor in a duel. Only a few champs could out-duel a Bloodrazor Shyvana.

I don't know XelNiya, Lolking shows you having a 46% rate with her, in Bronze 3 nonetheless. I'm not saying that makes what you say wrong, it's just that I've been having wild success with my build path, and runes/masteries, in the current meta.

I go Cinderhulk, titanic hydra, Dead man's plate, Other tank item (depends on MR or Armor needed; spirit visage or Omens, or GA), then Warmogs (this is great in the lethality build meta, and sometimes I build it before DMP), then Triforce for boots.

I run 18/12/0 ; http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/37112202/Stick%20In%20Mudd#runes-and-masteries

I'm an unstoppable dragon lady that dives the enemy carrys, AA them to death with a slow burn. Cinder, Hydra, and Warmogs, makes me a death tank.

I don't really play this game as much as you do, however, so I'll give the bloodrazor a shot.

Well if my word is not good enough, you can head over to ShyvanaMains on reddit and you would find a lot of them saying the same thing there. A lot of those guys are high elo players.

Shyvana isn't that great a duelist anymore . There are loads of junglers that can beat her in a duel after one jungle item build.

For jungle Shyvana its hard to include in a build unless you are fed. It's too much gold spent on pure offense. I tried building it early, it didn't really perform that well. I can see it becoming an option later in the game when you have some tankiness, sustain and also other on hit effects like item 1419 or item 3748 .

The big advantage of rageblade is that you can fill your ressource bar faster and also stay in dragon form for a much longer time while hitting stuff, but this won't matter if you can't survive that long in the first place.

That's how it went for me. I rushed it and I was in a bad spot until I got Titanic Hydra and botrk. So I guess you get it as a 3rd or 4th item. I sell boots for triforce or PD. Usually PD because the massive crit on the q. RNG ftw. At least it's not FE Awakening. Jokes aside, nobody can kill shyvana. She has native on hit damage through her w and e. The e is %max hp on hit on marked targets. Her w makes her aa's deal 25% of burnout's damage as on hit damage.

item 3046 is terrible.

The on-hit effects and the bonus damage from your Q are not multiplied when you crit.

I think you are building way too offensive in general. So you might as well include item 3124 ....its not gonna matter. xD

Theoretically it is a great item that synergizes with her on-hit effect from E, Q, W's on-hit, and attack speed. The downside is that it is an incredibly expensive item that doesn't offer anything other than raw offensive stats. Shyvana requires tanky items to survive long enough to do damage but her kit doesn't really provide her with any kind of defensive abilities. Buying bloodrazor and titanic hydra are really the only offensive items you need to buy (maybe trinity force if you are feeling lucky).

I do wish she had more options as far as items go though. Riot tried really hard to make Rageblade Shyv work, but it just doesn't.
