Zyra completely dominates bot lane

No matter what support you pick your not going to do nearly as much as zyra because she has a million fucking plants that she can destroy you with from like 800 range. You can't even get close to zyra because she's gonna spawn a fucking plant on your ass as soon as your in range. It's not even worth trying to crush the seeds or attack the plants because they aren't even worth gold. Really 5 gold for killing this plant that did half my health? Stepping on a seed should be 5 gold. Killing a plant should be 10. Killing zyra should be 5000 (insert sarcasm here)

I know but why should another adc be a counter to a support. It's rediculous. Also miss fortune is not a good support at all. They did it in Lcs. That doesn't mean it's a meta pick or even worth trying for the first time. Just because the pros do it doesn't mean we should too.

Just because you havent played vs a good MF support doesnt mean they dont exist...

Edit: she can double up and 1 shot the plants and have a guaranteed crit on the bounce iirc

MF can be a really great support, if you play her as a SUPPORT and not as a second ADC. That's the real trick, she is also not just a counter to Zyra, but can be a great counter to a lot of the heavy poke/cc mages. Galio support is also not a bad counter to Zyra. Yes she's annoying but at the same time, its a matter of finding a support who knows HOW to play against her and has the range to get rid of the plants and also poke back. Just my two cents.

Easy way to get rid of plants is with a brushfire. Aka play Brand.

Play on CDs. She puts down seeds, spawns plants. Great, limited timer, go in right after they're down. She's down on seeds, down on a Q, and incredibly squishy.

Play Thresh/Blitz.

Don't play stupid shit like Ali, Leona, or anyone that needs to go deep. She counters that.

Play annie.

Play Brand.

Hell even Bard.

She's good, but has weaknesses. Although MF support directly counters her. Zyra was hard nerfed when her plants no longer target champions automatically unless they're hit with the Q I believe. This means she can't be an offensive support, she plays like Heimerdinger and waits for your misplaced aggression.

Ignore anyone who suggests Lux support vs Zyra (unless you're with Cait or Jhin).

I've been a Zyra main for 3 seasons and pushing 600k mastery with her, and I consistently struggle against Sion, Nautilus, and Nami. A really good Janna tilts me. I can't do shit to a Galio, but I don't see him as a threat. Veigar can also be quite frustrating.

I usually feel the most hard countered by a good Nami or a Brand that can find his R key. The thing about Nami is that her W will win trades pre-6, and her move speed and on-hit damage buffs make it easier for the adc to exploit Zyra's weaknesses. Specifically her weakness to being all-inned after missing a single skillshot.

Brand just wins the poke war most of the time. If Zyra tries to all-in, Brand's combo just executes faster. It's usually a case of mutually assured destruction. It's hard for Zyra to win that even if she catches Brand from a bush, because his EQ can interrupt her.

All i'm getting from this topic is just complaints when theres a bunch of other champions out there that you should be worrying about. Especially with upcoming champions and then oh look, theres gonna be a topic about a new/different said support champion that just "dominates" bot lane. I'm a Zyra main, yes theres certain champions that are her "weakness" but in the end it depends on the player. Keep practising, position yourself properly and learn to adapt to whatever champion comes into play, REGARDLESS if it's the big bad Zyra. Rolls eyes
