Lets talk Cho'gath.

In case its been so long since you last saw one you forgot what he looks like im talking about this champion Chogath . You know that cctank/bustmage/juggernautplitpusher that is mostly found in the toplane/midlane/jungle. His winrate has been on the lowerside for a long time now and i have only encoutered 1 since the MYMU which makes him a rarity on par with urgot. (Which is mostlikely why i still remember that game). This is strange to me. I remember him as a fun champ and he has tons of different buildpaths and playstyles. So why does he still have such a low play (and win)rate? What is holding him back and what are some fun builds to play him with now i want to pick him up again? Personnally i think its his vulnerability to ganks and the ease to dodge his spells with all the mobility in the game atm. What do you think can be good things to make Cho more viable again?

no mobility and easy to dodge/escape skill shots.

he offers a ton, but its just too difficult to play him at a high enough level just to come out on par with others.

i look at cho, and i would rather just have a lissandra in every way.

also, longish cd's. relative to everyone else, giving him big windows to punish him for missing.

You need to play him strong into the enemy team. He is a team fighter not really a split pusher. He use to be a split pusher but with the meta champs being who they are it is impossible to split with him.

You need to treat him like Malph now, you group fight as soon as possible and help push and pressure the lanes. You can't sit top all game anymore.

His whole kit is a uber supportive/damage additive to the team and if you just land 1 Q its game over for the poor bastard hit if your team is awake.

Easy to dodge is also silly, as the range and if you use it properly you will always land his abilities. The only thing you really need to land is his Q anyway, W should only be used if it lands really. Or save W for that especially bullshit champion to stop their skills. Now lets also not forget the true damage ult which hits like a truck.

I play him midlane as a counter to assassin's.
