Changing how the surrender vote works

When someone leaves, the surrender vote changes to not count them. Why don't we do the same thing with people who don't vote when the box comes up? If you didn't vote, you clearly don't care either way. If the surrender vote goes 3 for surrender and 1 against, why not end the game? If that 5th person didn't want it to end, they could have said no.

I hear ya, but they said No by not clicking yes also. If they absolutely wanted to surrender they would have clicked Yes.

I could turn this by saying that they said Yes by not clicking no.

Except the game doesn't work that way, which is why not clicking is better interpreted as No.

in fact, I don't know anyone who has not clicked it and said Yes. I am sure some people meant to and forgot, but most people who choose not to click it are ok with the No option.

Most people who I see not click at all don't care either way. When I see it in game or stream they just go with whatever option gets picked, going with whatever happens. I've done it once because it was a normals game and I really wanted to practice a champion, but in ranked I wouldn't do that.

This argument becomes flawed using your indicated method of thinking due to: If they WANTED it to end they could have said yes.

Your argument works both ways unfortunately.
