The balance team went retarded this time.Like he said, you can't fully balance this game you will sometimes break a champion but this time they literally went full monkeys with the Q buff and talking about how they want Galio to be a fucking half ap half tank champion lmao.

It's the worst goal possible, tanks should not deal damage, period. If he has tank abilities like his ult and W while also being able to build tanky to soak up dmg and also burst people and poke people with damage then it's simply retarded and there would be no reason to even play assassins at all.

I was talking about Riot's statement of them wanting to make him a champion that can both build tanky and deal ap damage.No fucking shit everyone builds him ap if you literally oneshot everything you see.

I think it's fine if Galio deals damage if he builds for it, and not if he doesn't.

I think it's not fine for a tank to deal burst dmg but that's just my opinion I guess. The balance team seems braindead anyway after that change and the game was full of unbalanced shit since it's release so I guess they can do whatever the fuck they want with their game I stopped tryharding for this garbage a long time ago.

Did you read what i said though, or even watched the video of this post at all.

Riot said themselves that they want galio to be able to build both ap and tank AT THE SAME TIME.

I swear sometimes I feel like people come here just to argue and don't even know what people are talking about.

WTF man... GALIO WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE A FULL-TANK!!!! this guy made me cringe so hard, he has no knowledge of the character's history.

Galio was a mage-tank since release, and that also includes pre-rework Galio. He was only built full-tank recently because his kit allowed him to do so, and his AP scaling weren't good enough to promote building AP.

He always had the potential to go full-tank, full-AP, or anything inbetween. Wanna go bruiser Galio? Rylai+Liandry into tank items does the job. In fact that's pretty much what i did since his rework. His kit was made to peel and counter poor position, but also to poke with his powerful Q. Even going full AP, he can still do his job as a peeler and to punish poor positionning.

Old Galio could also go full-AP and serve as a momentarily makeshift tank with his W resistance and heal that scaled with AP.

Truly the real misunderstanding here is to believe Galio was meant to be a full-tank, he was never designed as such.

No knowledge? He sourced text directly from the League wiki/from Rioters. And I believe he was implying that the original passive incentivized building Magic-Tank, not that old Galio couldn't work in other ways
