Nunu's Blood Boil seems like a bad ability

Nunu isn't in dire need of the movement speed as he can almost permaslow anybody with snowballs and the attack speed isn't a great fit for anything than his passive on his kit. Plus the stats on this ability are pretty lousy compared to somebody like Warwick who has twice the attack speed stats for more allied champs.

But Warwick doesn't provide ms to his allies and lasts half the time with a lot more cd. Blood Boil by itself lets you use your passive 2 times before it expires (3 if you used passive to activate it) at level 1, meaning the skill is incredibly strong by itself, it also helps nunu's weak ganks by providing him and his laners some ms and as for 12 seconds which is always a good thing. That said I think they should buff a bit the ms part since it feels somewhat weak, maybe 10/11/12/1/14/15%... but oh well it's just my opinion, it's not like he drastically needs any buff sicne he's quite strong.

I don't think he is that strong. His win rate is just under 50% and his play rate is the worst of every jungler at 0.57%. I have never seen a play rate that low.

Like you said, I would be fine with this ability if it seemed like it was being impactful but the movement speed is barely noticeable to me (especially since nobody ever maxes blood boil first or second.)

Naaa he is strong but he needs you to be in his range, which is hard to achieve with all the mobility in game. if you pair him up with a rammus/shen/amumu though he's incredibly strong. Hhe's also quite proficient bot lane as a support imo, he's got easy poke, nice sustain and thanks to his W he's got the upper hand in most trades.

Nunu support win rate 43%. Play rate 0.17%.

You know that winrate in not everything right? When I play him support (rarely, just when I want to have fun) I find him enjoyable and strong. Don't play him in the jungle but when I used to play him top he was quite strong. BTW if you want to talk, try using reasoning, not winrates, it's a pain to deal with those... nunu wasn't meant to be a support in the first place, it's obvious he's not the best and people don't play him much but he's quite strong... obviously he's still nunu, he can't win a game by himself and it's pretty situational no matter where you bring him.

Winrate is not everything but it's a big thing. Play rate is probably more telling. The reason Nunu support is below average is that he doesn't provide enough utility to be gold and level starved like other supports and doesn't provide as much peel as other tank supports.

But on the other hand he provides a huge boost to objective pressure withouth the need to take smite. Also his utility might not be incredible like a double stun or something like that, but his as and ms buff combined with his high damage is extremely good in early fights, especially with champs like vayne and twitch who need as more than ad. He's not the best but he's funny af and does work even though I wouldn't suggest ranking with him. And I repeat: nunu is a situational champ, he's not like an alistar a leona or some other supps that can be played in multiple team comp and against multiple team comps, but trust me he's fun and does work, but again he's not designed to be a support and he's still nunu so he's situational.

Blood Boil isn't as important for you. Its for that Kog, vayne, Cait or whoever. that's why its maxed last, you don't really need it early game

It's a super easy way to grab assists.
