I Don't Want to Sound Rude

I get that CertainlyT is considered innovative. However, he should really work with another Rioter whenever he does a rework or champion design. I think he'd be an amazing designer if he worked with another Rioter, and I really mean that. He has fantastic ideas.

I'm not going to point out reasons for this here because I feel the need to soft-ball this post. However, I really do think it'd be a champion made in heaven if he worked with a seasoned designer. Best of both worlds.

You're delusional if you think any one designer handles literally anything in this game. With 100% chance, there was a team of at least 5 designers working on anything CertantlyT did and he just takes all the flak as the one who is the public face. he's probably the leader of the teams he works on, but come on now. Everyone he worked with looked his work over, not just in his team probably a lot of other rioters, and they all said 'yes these seem like great ideas' and gave the green light.

That is likely correct. However, there is a a common denominator, and the champions he leads the design on consistently get hated for reasons of counterplay and being unfathomably irritating. Even when his designed champions are weak they get hated because of how they're designed.

Yes, other champions have this, too, but this is CONSISTENTLY a problem with nearly every champion he has lead the design of. I don't squarely blame him, but I strongly appreciate his innovation. That is why I wanted to see him work with another designer to pump out a unique, innovative and healthy champion design.

As a lead designer, he should've been the one to say "You know what, maybe we SHOULDN'T re-design Mordekaiser's kit to be even more binary then stuff him into a lane he's never played in."

It's him who should've said "Perhaps the fact that Ashe originally caused mobility creep by permaslowing and kiting is indicative of the fact that need-based mobility creep is unhealthy for the game. Designing a champion like Kalista may actually be a bad idea right now, when mobility is higher than ever."

I can go on, but as the lead designer, the buck stops with him.
