Can we talk about Edge of Night and why its fucking busted af???

It's busted on both Melee and Ranged atm. Cooldown is too low and the stats are too good.

The Item wasn't designed for all melee champions. It was designed for "Assassins" and even on them its broken. I hate seeing the... "Ranged champions abuse it and ruin it for melee's" No this item wasn't meant for a fucking Irelia, Nocturne or Riven or Hecarim to be that much harder to peel. Anyone that is arguing that is delusional. This item's uptime is busted af, especially so for the stats it's giving. Nerfing the stats isn't going to fix the issue tho. ITS THE UPTIME. NEEDS A REAL cooldown. It's as good if not better then Zhonyas so its cooldown should be at least 100 Id even settle for 60 seconds.

Yeah I never feel punished for buying it. Full AD team? Still a good buy. They are all AA champs or things like Eve who can easily pop it without missing out on much damage? Buy it.

The problem with the item is that it has a 1.5 second cast time and a 10 second duration which makes it wonderful for initiating but horrible when used reactively and considering how quick reaction assasinations tend to be I believe it would probably be better to either 1) make it reveal the user from fog of war during that 1.5 second cast time so that you can see them coming, 2) change it to instant cast but let it have a 1.5 second duration so that it can be used for defending and not just initiating while cutting down it's window of strength or 3) just up the cooldown to about 80-100 seconds which reduces it's spammability because on people with escapes 30 seconds basically allows them to bait out cc for 10 seconds twice every minute.
