With all the moving parts involved, you have to give RIot credit for keeping things balanced
Just think of all the items and champions the game has now compared to when it started out. To keep a relative balance on everything without there being more than a rare strong or weak outlier goes to show you how impressive the team at Riot has been in sustaining a game where millions of people are looking for an unfair edge on how to beat their opponent every day. To have biweekly updates just to keep things balanced is also something I think we all take for granted and should be thankful for. Most games I play don't have the developers working that often on keeping up with balance shifts that must be corrected.
Not only that, but RIot has kept things new and fresh with periodic new items, skins, champions, stories, movies and more, also something very rare in the gaming world. This is truly the pinnacle of being loyal to one's fans, all for a game that is free to play.
As a Shyvana main, I understand that Riot made Twin bite utter garbage with a nerf because they wanted me to feel really good about winning with one hand tied behind my back, kind of like the karate kid when he beat cobra Kai with a broken leg or the people that beat dark souls just by punching. It's given me some fresh incentive to keep playing an old champ I love.
? That's not balance.
