Amumu is a terrible champion

I am a proud Amumu main with 190k mastery who has given up on this champion for good. He is just so weak!

I looked up his stats on OP.GG... 47.12% winrate with 0.93% pick rate. Those stats are just downright awful.

The dude is not being played! He is being played only by mains like me, and even those mains are losing hard on him. And with good reasons too.

His early game is just the worst in the whole entire game. You invade his blue at the start and you cripple him for the next 10 minutes.

He is a vanguard with super hard engage, no disengage... which makes sense because he is a vanguard. BUT..... He is not tanky. his tankiness comes from his items and without at least 2 tank items he is as squishy as a lux. He does not deal damage like other tanks... like... rammus can 100-0 squishies and he is 3 times more tanky than amumu.

If you think you can duel literally ANY CHAMPION in the game with him, you're wrong. If you manage to beat someone 1vs1, they either did something very wrong or they straight up don't know how to fight with their champion.

He has 0 mobility beside his q... if you miss it you are useless. He has terrible mana issues without blue buff. that w drains mana like shit.

He is a tank without any lifesteal, shields, health regen, heals, nothing. A VANGUARD without SUSTAIN... WHAT?

In a reality where they released an AP brusier with heal, dash, shield and a grapcloser stun it doesn't make sense that a tank will not have any of those and be a lot less tanky than said AP bruiser(We all know who that guy is...)

On a side note, i picked up Vi... that champion is great.

Playing amumu in a meta where everyone is hyper mobile and nuking 6 items tanks in 1 second lol ofc nobody is playing him it's not him it's the damage in the game

If they invade blue, take their blue. Works like 80% of the time, so thats not that huge a deal.

Hes not that bad - he is a teamfight/late game champ though. His ult is really strong in teamfights - but with games closing out early hes not a reliable pick.

His ult is too gamechanging to give him early game power and built in sustain etc. Problem is the early/mid game meta.

You expect them to not ward that blue and collapse on you, a level 1-2 amumu from mid jg and bot lane? Give me a break.

Leona Malphite Ornn Rammus Some other Vanguards without sustain, activated shields or anything but armor boosts.
