Pretty much title. Even by nerfing his regens by a nice 20%, having it impossible to be reduced by 50% with Grievous Wounds would make Mundo a nice anti-ap tank. An MR steroid would make this even stronger, and we'd finally have someone else in the game to pick than Galio if they're magic damage heavy.

I do agree it's too easy to build Morello's (you're only sacrificing MR as a midlaner by not going athenes, zhonya's will cover you for the juggnernaut top laners). Mundo's weak as shit atm.
However 100% reduction would make it feel disgusting playing against him. You really don't want to CC Mundo but you'd have to if he were immune.

Except this doesn't make him an anti-magic damage tank. It makes him an anti-EVERYTHING tank. This would make him so broken.

Eedat1 votesNot really. A Morello or ignite makes him a anti-nothing in fights. His laning phase is terrible and being super hard countered by one summoner or item in a team fight doesnt make him worth the risk most of the time

Mundo suffers from similar issues to other heavy-sustain champions: OP without Grievous Wounds, suffers horribly with GW.
Eedat2 votesHes not OP without grievious wounds. He's functioning as intended without grievous wounds. Hes more or less worthless with it though.
A single item or summoner spell completely negates Mundo's entire play style. He's situation at best, but still completely outclassed by any of the current top lane meta bruisers simply by being hard countered by the summoner spell that the enemy mid-laner is almost guaranteed to have. He gets destroyed in lane by any champions that can force trades with him. Force him to build armor first and hes in an even rougher spot. He has no escape and is pretty easy to gank. His weak lane, easy hard counter, and situation usefulness just make him a bad overall pick and it reflects in his win rate. Normally I would say win rate doesnt dictate how healthy a champion is, but when his win rate is constantly hovering below 45% on a champ that is super easy to use, it does say something
I am curious as to which other "other heavy sustain champions" are OP without grevious wounds though. Eleborate

Eedat1 votesHow is Vlad op without grevious wounds? All his abilities cost hp which forces him into buying spell vamp early. I mean his pool literally costs 20% of his hp. I have no idea how you can call Volibear OP in the current meta even if he isn't ignited. Swain is fine as he is and WW is nowhere near being OP
I asked for a list of champs who are OP without grievious wounds, not for a list of champions that are hard countered by it
Elkington VI1 votesThis is why I've always said Morello's griveous wounds should have remained an active. Right now, it let's APs shut down sustain champions with zero effort. They don't even have to sacrifice anything to shut them down either since Morello's is a decent, cost-efficient item.
