Zoe Special Q Ability?

So if you hold the ability for just before it closes out and ends - you can push the star even further than you normally could.

Okay - - -

But when you use R and do this, it doesn't work - this interaction is removed. Is this a bug?

::Thinks:: Then you don't need to ask about bugs here but use bug report feature. Personally I think she's broken.

I'm asking if anybody else has experienced this, because nobody has any posts on Zoe other than: "Omfg she's broken and I played like a total of 2 matches with her and none of them as me actually playing as her!"

It's 100% consistent - so I don't know if this was intentional or not.

Actually just tested this in practice mode. It seems like Q flies to the edge of the cast range based on where Zoe is when the star flies rather than when Zoe recasts the ability. This means if you recast Q and then walk/run to the direction where the star is flying, the range gets extended past the point where the indicator shows.

Usual combo with QR would be to cast Q then R and then recast Q from the R position. But you could actually do Q, recast Q and then R to extend the Q travel distance while it's flying. You could also use flash this way.

I've got a totally different experience, as this Q interaction only works when I cast it at the last second and only when I am running away from the stars cast area. Thus - it doesn't work when I combo with R, and I actually have greater safety if I didn't even use R - unless if I am using E of course. Maybe the Q ability relies on the perspective a person uses on the ability?

The video in this thread covers the q behavior pattern pretty well

I'll be making a new thread on this, showing the inconsistency of her Q - just tested it out on test mode.
